  • I am currently a Senior in High School! But for a long time I wanted to do school elsewhere while doing what I love which is evangelism! Though there were many problems and obstacles to make this dream come true… God made it happen. And I believe so for a specific purpose. That He can use a broken and weak instrument such as myself for His plan and Glory! Sola Deo Gloria!
I will never forget this opportunity I had to share my testimony and the Gospel with over 1,000 high school students I spent 3 months in school with! Though my Japanese High School was considered Christian, less than 1% of the students professed Christ… even more so among the staff and teachers about 10% claimed to be a Christian! In such a secular and pagan culture, we need more Christian’s to share the cure of the Gospel with those who don’t know it.
While being an exchange student and Serving my church in Japan for 3 months, I recognized that the Christianity that did exist was exceptionally amazing. Being an American Christian I am often discouraged by those in the church today and even among some of my friends and family members who profess the title “Christian” because of vain reasons… You stick out to be a Japanese Christian in Japan, and although in most circumstances there is no hostility, there is a cost. In which our faith is really questioned. For that I admire the Japanese Christian’s for their deep faith and passion to follow Christ even if they are the minority. Because of this I challenge Christian’s not only in America, but all throughout the world to not take what we have in this life and in Christ for granted. And that we spread the gospel to all creatures! Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. ( Matthew 9:37)
