Hey everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the run! I know it was a bit rocky at times, but we made it through in the end. This run meant a lot to me as one of the first runs I really took seriously and went for top times in back in 2014, so to be able to show it off 7 years later at a GDQ is truly special
keiz and shen just dunking on poor eddaket was a highlight of this GDQ tbh. Great run, great chemistry, great commentary, and GREAT improvisation. This is why I always look forward to Pokemon runs!

I’m mildly disappointed that the title of this video isn’t “Keiz roasts featuring a Pokémon speed Run”, but the run was so amazing and hilarious it’s ok haha!
Was hoping for the upload on RUclips because Pokemon runs done by Eddaket are always super fun, especially with Keizaron and Shen it's like 100% time worth spend 💜

Shen trying to keep Edda in the game, all focused and paying attention, explaining things and stuff, and then there's Keiz. This run, if it had a crowd, would have been surreal. It's great as it is, but it would have been right up there with the best poke runs.

I tried to copy that missingno glitch @23:00 mark, but instead of missingno, I keep getting trainer fight. Am I supposed to use a any specific pokemon? Does it have to go down in one hit? Was I supposed to have specific name for a character?
I found the guide that is used but I don't understand the manipulation where they reset for the trainer death warp early on in vermillion city... the guide calls is "nopal(ab)" when resetting but I can't get the encounter in front of the trainer, can anyone help?
So this is actually really awesome. Also, for what it's worth, I disagree that bulbasaur's the worst starter. I was always a fan of Veridian Forest, because with two catches, (Caterpie and Weevil) You can eventually get six pokemon in your 'dex. And bug types aren't a bad thing to have "in case"

The weird names have to do with code manipulation. It allows them to reliably change values from the menu overflow to do all the glitches
