Aretha composed her hit song, Day Dreaming (1972). Oftentimes, when a song is written by a composer who is also an extraordinary singer, the result is a tune that can be a Playground of Joy for other talented singers. No surprise that Corinne did a great job on this tune! She's one of the few high-selling female singers today who can sing without dependence on Auto-tune and other software and studio crutches.
She is so beautiful!! How sweet she is and so very, very, lovely.........makes me wish I could have her sing this song to me in person!! Love You Corinne! :-) Her poetically gorgeous voice was tailor made for this song, one of my all time favorites! Thank you Alicia for the Beautiful picture compilation! :-) I will share it to Facebook now.
Aretha Franklin recorded this song many moons ago I never thought anyone could do justice to it. Unlike so many remakes that try so hard to be just like the original, this is done CBR way and I ♥ it
i don't like this version. kellie sae's version is definitely better than this cause it effescts feelings that are more suited for what the song is saying. of course it goes without saying that aretha's version is simply the best!
Okay, well each artist has their strengths and weaknesses when covering anyone else's songs. Appreciate it for its distinctive differences than comparing. I'm like them both equally for how they fits different moods

Tom Crowe-Garey You like them equally, I cannot. Chaka Khan and Patti Labelle are comparable to Aretha, but this child is truly not in the same league.
UGH....you miss the point. I respect them for their artistic interpretation, not their regurgitation. You're too caught up in an imaginary race no one's having. I respect your stance, but I just don't bother with comparisons. The world's a big enough place for all types of music, and all types of singers.
Fender Rhodes Stage 73 with Boss Tremelo pedal going through a Fender Twin... I played keys on this :)

I just want to appreciate how she put her own craft and art to this cover. I love it. She did her own thing. :)
Thanks Alicia for posting this tube of Corinne. It's a rainy day here and her tunes always brighten my day!

She kinda looks like Audrey Hepburn with a tan lol. Amazing!
🎉🎉
the year of the song? the michel'le daydreaming come from murder was the case in 1996
does anyone know the name of the kind of keyboard used in this song?
This is eerily close to being better than the original.
Nice job. And I usually don't people messing with Motown greats. But very nice and a
pretty girl to boot.
Natalie Cole did a fantastic upbeat version of this song with a video, check it out. Aretha was the one who sang it originally (I think) ? and others.
Aretha wrote the song.
Linda porque sim!
Her voice sounds lovely. however I just missed the background singers like the original one but all in all it is a very lovely relaxing song
mary j blige has an amazing version but kinda hard to find
actual can find it here :)
♡🍓🍓love
Aretha was not a Motown artist.
Like everything else she makes I love her rendition of this classic. However, Tamia does it much better imo
I want to know love like she feels it ... In song.
The real deal? Check out Aretha. No comparison.

good, but not in the same league as Aretha Franklin
agree, she gets weak on the "....care"
