the changes: 1. BAL_RAT looks different. 2. The "Goodbye" is different and no glitchy effect after it happens. 3. Both endings are different. 4. Regardless of what you do after all notebooks are collected, only BAL_RAT is here and everyone else is gone.
gonna be honest here, this update was literally just a downgrade. you have to remember this mod was a recreation of a baldi creepypasta that was made in vibingleafs discord server. most of the stuff now is just removed. and it is now just trying its best to just be scary. i went to the "this is what happen to people who download random files" part since the baldi image always was perfect due to the smile and then 1 second after theres flashing lights. like.. dude. i literally have epilepsy and i thought the whole mod was just gonna be the same with just some fix ups and just removing things. remvoing the goodbye static which was in the og pasta and then adding flashing lights after the "dont download random files" part? sorry but this feels like its trying WAY to hard to be scary now. worst of all the creator didnt add a flashing lights warning on the mod page when the update released.

Not gonna lie, this feels like it should be what the original game could've been. This gives a more obvious horror vibe. Baldi's Basics is an Indie Horror game but I never really found it scary otherthan Baldi's jumpscare noise 😂. There wasn't much horror and this really helps with that 🤣
this update is disappointing now that there is only one ending which kinda sucks and i dont know about the new baldi sprite once you collected all notebooks.
