Thanks for the lesson, Allen. I loved how you use your brushes and was surprised at how thin your paint was throughout ( a result of the liquin/ spirit added?). Vocalising your thought processes was very useful.A fantastic result.

    Monsieur ,
Toutes vos peintures sont extraordinaires !! Mais je n’arrive pas a savoir si celles-ci sont exécutées en plusieurs couches et surtout si vous attendez que celle ci soit entièrement sèche avant d’appliquer la suivante ? En vous remerciant

Hello, I wanted to ask you, since you use Liquin, mine gets hard after a while, how do you keep it liquid? (I mean in the bottle)

Hi Allen, I,ve just stumbled upon your channel and although I really like your style and will definitely be giving this painting it a try myself, I thought it worth pointing out a few suggestions if I may. So apologies in advance if I come across too harsh.
As a novice hobby painter I do try to pay attention to what’s being shown and demonstrated with a few distractions as possible, after a while I started to find myself being distracted by the amount visual text pop ups that was in this video.
Subscribe reminders: I actually found myself counting the amount of times it popped up ad found it a big distraction. Once at the start and once at the end of the video would better in my view.
List of materials: I think just a quick run through at the start of the session and a copy of it in the description would be better than pop ups through the video.
Screen setup: There seemed to be a lot of space onscreen that could have been more utilized. By that I mean the dark areas around the canvas etc. Would it be possible to zoom in more on the canvas and pallet views ie crop it a little?
Video length: would it not be better to break long sessions into parts? This is rather a long video and I thought it would maybe come across better if a video this size was broken into 2 or even 3 parts.
Phew well I hope that was a bit of an essay lol. Oh liked and subscribed by the way and look foreword to learn more of your style minus distractions lol

I agree with @peterdonaldson1 the subscription popups seem to be a lot but maybe not as little as two, space them out every 30 mins of the video I think would be better. As for the materials, I prefer it as it is. That way if I forget I don't have to pause the video and look in the description, the pop ups paints are very handy for me. And as for the length, please please don't change it. I really like the way you talk your way through the painting, the bits where you get stuck, the bits where you say "Oh I don't like that at all" I think are incredibly valuable for learning. I understand you have to make them to try and suit as many people as possible. So as it stands I think your format is the best on RUclips for teaching, especially allowing us to view the mistakes. So I just want to say thank you for these lessons.

I like your vid exactly as it is! If one wants to see closer it's easy to zoom in and out on a touch screen. I love watching and trying to duplicate your exact process as I'm learning so much as you explain. I can't count the times I've gone back to rewatch segments, paused when I need a break and come back again. Please don't change a thing and thank you for your incredible generosity and sharing your process.
