The debt ceiling party is back on after last night. Where will it go now? We continue to see the issues with the debt ceiling coming up for discussion...this will be something to watch closely. Yesterday marked a positive day in the stock markets and we could see the debt ceiling raised next week. We are seeing warnings from all sides in the debt ceiling drama right now and it is not looking good. I believe the worse is yet to come. We are seeing the debt ceiling meeting today and it could lead to a stock market crash if things go badly. Will we be able to avoid having to have stimulus checks in 2024? I don't believe so personally.
We see a continued drop in the markets for the third week in a row. Will it really collapse by the end of the week or even a stock market crash by the end of the month. We see a good amount of issues out there that need to be dealt with.

If I were starting to invest and looking at NVDAvsTSLA, there would be no questions asked lol ARKK's #1 position is Teslaaaa, it's already a big enough position and when it rises the position will be too big. So, I understand why she's not adding any at this point, but rest assured that if the price dips again she'll add more!

You won’t be taxed on a loss sell. You only get taxed when you sell for a gain, either 0%, 15%, or 20%, depending on your annual income. If it’s a huge loss, you can use it as a tax harvest and use it later to offset any capital gains in a future sale.
The answer to your question is in direct relation to your personal tax situation. If you itemize because your write offs are greater than the standard deduction, then you can write off up to $3000 per year. However, it’s important to understand that if you lost $9000 this year, you can write off the other $6000 over the next two years assuming you continue to itemize. Hope this helps.

I’ll say it on every Tesla video even though my comment gets deleted. Tesla will go to 114. All electric is not the future. Everyone else is doing hybrid cars. Cars that charge themself with a generator in it. They don’t break when supper cold and don’t have to wait hours to charge. Driving is fun. No one wants to use autonomous driving.
