You can definitely retire on 300K in Mexico; you have to live like a Mexican in a small town. Many places in SE Asia can also be the options, but the visa situation can be troublesome.

Always love the single Suzy simulations. Thank you for these ideas/tools you share - help me feel secure, that there will be ways and I will be able to make myself ok.
Not counting on myself to find a millionaire to marry, lol in response to the first comment, as if that's something I would ever want at this stage of my life.
I have a grown son who's healthy, smart, self-sufficient and resilient, most importantly loved. Leaving him with a large inheritance is not in my current plan, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

So many options, no wonder people who are not good at math get confused and scared.
I ran something like 40 different scenarios before I convinced myself I could retire. Then Trump's tax cuts and Secure Act one and two messed up all my calculations, but in my favor 😊. The cash bucket got me through the chest cold crisis, and I'm having no trouble waiting for FRA to get SS started.

Are you ever figuring -20% social security starting in 2034? If not, why?

Because it's not likely to happen.

It won’t happen, they will always print money and they have said for
The past 30yrs the SS should already be wiped out by now , just like we’re all gonna die on climate change cause that the biggest threat to the world! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

The reason why ladies are drawn to your RUclips is because you break it down to
      Laymen’s terms, easy to
Understand and w passion giving people light at the end of the tunnel. It makes them realize there better off than they though they were and your channel pulls no

If single Suzy is watching this, I would like for you to touch back a year after you've retired. I think you will find that you are living as well as you did while working but spending much less. (My estimate is $40k a year) It cost more than most people realize, just to go to work.

      Living on 40k a year?
Property tax, car insurance, healthcare insurance, home owner insurance, utilities, phone bill, income tax, gas, food cost , with inflation going up every month, it’s ver tight budget

@ki2000ki I guess it depends where you live, but I made about what single Suzy made and me and a wife live quite comfortably on 40k. And we still take vacations much the same as while working (other than they are longer). We still live the same lifestyle as before retirement.

@@ki2000ki I live on under $20k annually and invest and save the rest. Housing and transportation can really be wealth killers so I focused on keeping those low... and yep I'll still get a tim hortons or starbucks coffee if I want. In the grand scheme of things, a few hundreds of dollars on coffee a year vs several thousand saved in transportation and housing... really a no brainer. I also don't care what other people think so lifestyle creep or keeping up with the Jones is not a factor for me.

if she learns how to trade options, $300K in collateral can generate $10K a months..
