    well proven! way before your products were available, I had a problem with the tikka recoil block not seating correctly. the recoil block was aluminum and the tikka rifle was a 338 win mag. which was discontinued. I purchased a bell & Carlson stock with a metal bedding block bedding system, and that cured that problem. ( Always worried if the alumni bedding system would fail due to the heavy magnum recoil of 338 win. mag) I have many tikka rifles and have used your bottom metal on most of them with no problems. your video display care for tikka customers and you will never satisfy 100% of us. due to human nature.

      @mountaintacticalcompany one question. In the last video u said the gas port bottom should be flush with the stock. This video u show the stock/ metal near the bolt being misaligned. I have my tikka in a bell and carlson. If the gas port is flush the bolt area is not. If the bolt area is flush then the gas port is not. Any idea what I should go by?

    • @mountaintacticalcompany
      @mountaintacticalcompany  5 месяцев назад

      That guide works for the factory stock. B&Cs are inlet differently. If you look at the ejection port, it should run parallel to the top of the stock. If there is an angle, it’s sitting on top of the recoil lug. Does that make sense?

    Now that’s what I call customer service !!!!! Just like working on cars….If it doesn’t go in right or fit the way it’s suppose to, it’s always the parts fault, not the installer. I am 110% guilty of gettin very frustrated when it comes to installing car parts and gun parts when they don’t install and or work 100% the first time….So when I see I am about to go down that frustration road, I stop what I am doing, take a 15/30 minute brake to clear my head cool myself down and take my mind off of that project for a bit. Then start 110% over and go really slow, and take a look at everything from every angle possible and make sure it is goin in the way it is suppose to making sure there is no obstructions of any kind, double and triple check everything even get a second pair of eyes from a friend to make sure I am doing what is suppose to be done. And then even if it is still going wrong and I still can’t figure it out, I will reach out to the company I got the product from and see if they have any solutions and or ask if maybe the product I got was out of spec. Great job Mountain Tactical another homerun of a video ! Keep doing what you are doing, I love this content and customer service.

The mag catch is the only thing touching the magazine and there is very little clearance between where the magazine sits in the action and the mag catch.

    For all you "armchair" quarterbacks, this company is not being truthful in the statements being made by them (in the Video) about my issue with there "bottom metal". I never stated what he is saying about me being a "Remington" gun expert, etc, and what I said about my friend being a so called "Tikka" expert. That is being made up by them. We are both knowledgeable gunsmiths in our own rights, but not experts as he stated. Regarding this company I have done some further research on and yes they have had some issues. But that all aside, the issues I have been having (is) with their "Bottom Metal" piece. Whether it be a new "redesign", next gen, as I was told, it still would not function properly in the rifle. There is a difference in the design of the lever from the one I was having problems with and two of there's my friend has on his Tikka's. I was never "belligerent" with these guys!!! With that said, when I get the "bottom metal" back from them, I asked, if I could get the pin, spring & lever they emailed me they had ordered if this still will not function properly? Yet to be answered by this company! Buy from this company at your own risk and if you have a problem with their product, I hope you all have better luck then I have with them. I asked how long has he been working on Rem 700s. Instead of answering appropriately, he asked me "how big are your wife's t_ts?"
