WOW! I can't believe how perfectly clean the piano riff is done on just one acoustic guitar.
This is my favorite cover of these two tunes.

I think you did the song as well as you could have. Chloe Dancer (Crown of Thorns) is impossible to do justice to with one guitar. For a lot of people my age, that song isn't just a song. It's more like a hymn. Sacred stuff. If you're going to do it...do it right.

Us Gen X's are so fortunate to have had (& still have) our voice, love, heartache, & pain spoken through the beautiful, powerful, & as raw in emotion as one can get, voice of Andrew, Chris, & Layne. Kids these days have no idea. When in need of a good cry & emotion purging, I let my Savior's take the wheel. Best & ONLY version of this masterpiece to be done & experienced is by Mother Love Bone.

I was a new father so it was hard to concentrate on music but when I could it was fuking fantastic. I was working at a high school radio station with some crazy fuker named spooky B the metal key. He knew all those guys.

One of my favorite of all time songs... And later I found that one of my favorite all-time bands, Candlebox, did a wonderful song called Far Away that was about Andy of Mother Love Bone🙏

They are playing the song half a step down which is why the verse seems so much lower than the original recording. But it is performed very well.

Wow, noro.. Že tko sm presenečen da še od koga v Sloveniji slišim, da je na celi te Seattle grunge sceni (folk še kr pozna Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvano ampak MLB pa tko noben ne pozna).. In pol edini cover tega komada k ga najdem na youtubu je iz Slovenije.. I understand you wanting to honor Andrew Wood, you did better on the crown of thorns part. But like someone else says, you gotta let go and belt that shit out.. and im a 35 year musician. Guitarist isnt bad, id have done it on a 12 string though. Overall, sacred songs like this, just shouldnt be publically covered..
