PQ and AN do their own thing now. Not that it's bad thing. Many AN UK products are very good and others are very overpriced. I could never get excited over their speakers based on old Snell Ks. They always sound crude and coloured to me no matter the version.
But I did hear an AN UK DAC about 15 years ago... best DAC I ever heard then and still is today. Ditto for a 2005 prototype AN UK version of the Ongaku... a bit different than the Kondo in the driver stage but stunning non the less. Both were designed in Canada by AN North America designer. This was long ago and I'm sure AN UK have moved on.
