@@laplibrarian6094 🥰 thanks so much!!! I'm glad you like it! And you're right, mini tassels would look great - I keep going back and forth with what to do with this one. 😆
I came across your page a couple months ago, and happy I did. I love your style. Your mellow and happy vibe just makes me smile 😊 I am watching from the Central Coast of California. And yesssss I get tired of granny squares easily, finally finish the project. Find a new yarn, get inspired again, and then always go down the granny square rabbit hole again.! 😂 have a beautiful day and see you in the next video!!
@@Annie.R. how fun to hear from you! 🥰 Oh my goodness, the Central coast of California has got to be the most beautiful beautiful place on earth! Lucky! Thank you so much for your kind words! And I'm glad I'm not alone with getting bored with Granny squares. 😆😆😆
I have just discovered you through Belinda front Bella and Stitch. I am from New Zealand and love knitting and crochet. Love to see what others are making and doing.
@@handcraftedbyhelen1963 hello to you!!!! Thanks so much for popping over and saying hi! I've always wanted to visit New Zealand 🥰 So glad to see you here!!! ❤️
Hi Abby, I have just discovered your channel (through Belinda at Belle and Stitch) and I am so happy to find you! I am in Alberta, Canada. I love the poncho you made. I remember my mother knitting one for me when I was younger and had forgotten all about that until I saw yours - they seem to have fallen out of fashion but they are such a useful item of clothing.
@@teresajoosten1784 oh hello!!! So happy you are here - thanks so much for your kind comment!! I adore Belinda - I'm so glad you hopped on over here! I think I had a poncho when I was little, also 🥰 What happened to the old faithful poncho?! 😆 I'm going to bring it back. Haha!
Loving the fringe on the poncho! It looks so cozy and snuggly. I have the same issue with my nails. I won't do the professional manicures anymore either because I just end up chipping the polish after a few days and by weeks end it looks terrible. I might as well throw my money in the garbage can. My hands aren't very feminine, but I do a lot of dishes and cleaning. I use OPI nail polish and do it myself. I think it ends up looking the same. ◡̈
@@melissachapman499 hello!!! Thanks so much - the poncho IS so snuggly - I can't wait for colder weather so I can use it. 🥰 oh - and I love Opi nail polish - it's one of the only ones besides Olive & June that doesn't chip on the first day. 😆 I'm so glad to hear that someone out there can relate to me and my manicure issues. 😆 So glad you popped in & thanks for your sweet comment!! 😁💕
Thanks for another great video...i enjoy your company very much. Can you share what brand of yarn your newest poncho is made with? The granny square blankets are beautiful. Would you consider showing how you did the borders for them? Have a wonderful day.
Hello!!! SO glad to hear from you! The yarn I used for the 2nd poncho is from Hobby Lobby called "I Love This Yarn" in Blue Spruce. It's super soft and squishy!! The granny square blankets are a simple scallop border - Blossom Crochet and Daisy Farm Crafts have some fantastic border tutorials including the scallop. 😀The scallop border is basically 5 dc's in one stitch, skip one, sc in one, skip one, 5 dc's in the next, and so forth. I hope that helps - let me know if you need some help finding a good tutorial!! I'm happy to show you but I think there are lots of videos already made. 😉 Thanks for stopping to comment and say hello!! ❤ Have the best day!
@@abbywelker-HaciendaHomemade Thanks for your quick response and all the helpful information. I can't wait to get the blue spruce yarn...such a pretty color.
Love the poncho! Mini tassels on the blue spruce would be adorable too!
