Glad your back held out - well done you! My lightweight bike kickstarted without the battery but some bikes do need at least some power, One of my friends couldn't get her Enfield to start on the kick start if the battery was dead. Keep em coming :)
Sorry to hear about your injury, but you seem to be recovering well. I had a bad fall in my workshop a few weeks ago and ended up busting my ribs. It's annoying, really, as it as really slowed down my output. I certainly wouldn't have been jumping on a bike so soon afterwards!
Awesome vid Samy - we all go through days like that with our dirtbikes! Worth definitely investigating that fuel leak... TTRs are quite cold blooded - a few mins left warming on choke before it takes revs is normal. I have a DTR and it starts best full choke \ no throttle - mine only has a kick start but those electric starts seem to drain the battery quickly anyway... also that choke dropping down is common & a real pain - another mate uses a peg to hold it up and it works a treat😁
