That's not necessarily true. You can see all of the players in the game and read them a bit. If other people are delivering stuff without incident, you can too. If someone is a red dot, or there are oppressors out, find a new session. Also, do not join an auto-aim lobby. Disable that. Well done as a veteran I appreciate your work. It is difficult to keep up with everything for new players and your guide helps a lot, will send it to friends.
Some other, more unconventional tips for the newcomers: 1: When you are creating your character, put as many points into Strength, Stealth and Lung Capacity as the game allows, since those skills are the most time-consuming to increase. You will be able to improve your Stamina, Shooting, Driving and Flying just by playing the game naturally. 2: If you really want to cut corners, Survivals and Gang Attacks are a great way to stack up ammunition for some of your guns. When you reach a high Shooting skill level, you'll end up having to spend +$100000 to keep your ammo stocked. That money could go a long way if it were spent on something else.
As a solo player for the most part for almost 7 years i can confirm it's possible to become extremely rich eventually some day even by yourself but it takes time and effort and a lot of grinding
I struggle with it myself, I've gotten myself a cocaine lockup fully upgraded and a bunker which has staff upgrade and I have to sell single vehicle which doesnt net huge amounts per run and I seem to constantly be stuck having to back and forth to make sure they don't go above a single vehicle sale. My overheads are huge for businesses and I dont get when these videos tell me to run missions in between as all that does is ticks it up to two sale vehicles so I have to destroy one.
Yes this game is awesome it can become a chore if you don’t have multiple things that you do ; I found the best grind being the vehicle warehouse , bunker and the night club, this allows me to just do other things most of the time while my money grows in the background
Jordan Grubb only sell top vehicles ; get 10 mid and 10 stand ; you will only source top after; only sell ur MC coke lock up when it’s full; u can sell ur bunker when it’s worth about 300 k, rinse and repeat
@@joecaves6235 would that not spawn 4 vehicles? I could try doing this, I've always been advised to stick to one vehicle or at a push 2. If you get post vans, you just quit lobby?
The Buzzard is a bless guys ! Dont skip this tip because the price tag might look huge at the start. It should be the second expensive vehicle you buy after the armored Kuruma. The Buzz saves you soo much time and time is money. It will pay back very fast. And btw, you can insta spawn it as CEO or if you re working for one. After playing this game since release, i can tell you that for progress the Buzzard was my most valuable purchase of all. Only few others come somewhat close to it.
Whenever i come back to gta online, i never always take too seriously because of how much pay to win it has become. Most of the time, i just earn money in gta online and buy new vehicles. And solo contact missions to earn money buy clothes and vehicles. Which was essentially what gta online was back then
I just started again on PC for the first time, so not only do I realise that I severely miss the old feel of being a low level in GTA, I am also thankful for this guide. So, again, thank you.
I miss the fun in GTA Online back in 2015, everything was so simple and fun. Now you have to literally work in the game lol Rockstar really changed....
Not gonna lie, I love that this video aged well, up to and including the fact that the businesses part is now (for the better) incorrect, as you can now start business gameplay in private lobbies.
I wish I could be a newb again. All I did was adversary modes (back when they were populated) and contact missions. I didn't care about repeatedly grinding the same buisnesses over and over again for money. Back then fun was the only thing that mattered, not money.
I hella agree, the money we can make now is crazy but everything got inflated too. I remember having so many crazy and fun experiences in the earlier days, now all I ever do is hop from business to business to sell and resupply. It's more a job than a game at this point.
As someone that picked up the Epic Games freebie, this video is brilliant! Simply and methodically explained, no fluff, calmly presented. The flow charts are an especially nice touch! Thanks & Subbed!
I've been playing for 5 years now and still stuck on 1.7 mil. I wish we didn't have to grind so much. All I want is the jetpack to hang out with my mates.
Same thing happened to me for a long time until I met a friendly hacker who helped anyone requested his help. He spawned dozens of Future Shock Deathblade bikes for me to sell, each one is worth 1mil and all my dreams came true. The hackers we usually come across force us to set up an invite only session,as you know. But when there's luck on your side you don't have to deal with normie randoms just to earn a laughable amount of money for hours. It is enjoyable as long as you have money but still,15-20 minutes long of cloud loading screens stay where they are and it is impossible to not expect a Chinese hacker who is obsessed with putting you in a cage or a tryhard griefer with an Opressor mk2 who chases you to the end of time and to the end of universe. But still, having a hacker friend actually makes the game more enjoyable for you. I wish you luck my friend,so you may come across with one too.
If you have been playing for five years and you still are stuck on 1.5 mil you’re doing something wrong. Either you’re spending all your money on luxury cars or clothes or you play the game very infrequently like once every few months or so.
To new players: joining groups on Facebook and forum websites really help. I’ve done heists with people and so far they’ve been helpful and actually gives good cuts from heists. Just ask the group if they need assistance. Like he said, experience is key. Get a feel for each mission and pretty soon you’ll be a pro.
I saw many many youtube videos about how to make money in GTA Online, as solo, as crew, as new, pro. This is by far, The BEST video I ever saw. It is so good, I like to watch it just by the beauty of it.
damn bro, this video is really good. i've been playing since 2013 but i haven't played at all this year so i'm kinda lost. This has the feel of an E3 gameplay or an official trailer, amazing editing and narration
There's something you've overlooked: Player-created custom maps. The ingame creator is a bit clunky, but by carefully choosing the location and spawn points, you can pretty easily create a Survival map that you can do solo with 0 chance of failure, fills up your armor and ammo reserves for any guns you own, and gets you much better GT$/RP than any contact mission. The best spot I've found so far is the Rimm paint factory in Strawberry, which provides an ideal position from which to rain your favorite explosives down on npcs spawning on the lower roof next door. With 20 rounds cranked to max difficulty (no land/air vehicles, only ground troops) a 25 minute run gets you 53k (and I'm sure I could tweak it to make it more efficient). It's repetitive and boring as watching paint dry, and you need to complete some hidden requirements in order to unlock the Survival game mode (complete contact mission Meth'd Up and be level 20-ish?), but from then on it's easy and reliable solo income you can do while you watch youtube on another screen. I call BS on your claim that you can do contract missions in 5-6 minutes on hard as a new player. Some of those missions are HARD and you fail a lot even on NORMAL difficulty with 4 players (Lamarr's stealth missions and the last stand at Benny's come to mind)! Other's simply can't be completed alone due to time limits or the requirement of doing more than one thing at a time. And even if you play well, your teammates may not, which leads to failures (usually because of limited team lives), which wastes your time. You should also have mentioned the bulletproof helmet and heavy utility vest as wise purchases. Finally, I think you've been a bit optimistic in assuming players still have those cash bonuses from the treasure hunt/stone axe on the table, and haven't already spent them. The game kinda throws that stuff in your face by way of emails and text messages, and they stand out as a thing you can do now in a sea of things you won't be able to do for a long time, and they'll probably dump it into weapons and upgrades, since the difficulty they've faced up to that point has been from 1) shooting large numbers of enemies and 2) running out of ammo. More money invested means more guns and more ammo which translates into more shooty.
Great video btw. I appreciate you, GTA Series Videos, for making this video for newbies, giving them an idea on their to do list in terms of the already mentioned CEO freeroam missions guide, the businesses + CEO missions combined guide, the heists and more. There may be other GTA youtubers that are higher in subs than this channel (which I won't name), but you guys pick honesty and quality over the rewards that you guys get if you know what I mean. But anyways, great video, I'm gonna need it in the future. - PS, 3:59 one of my favourite movies and one of the best GTAO memes combined, this is a delicious meme indeed. That gave me a good chuck ngl. You just simply put the cherry top, and I love it.
In my case, i always start with the search vip mission. Remove all other players and make it a solo public session. After that do the import export, maybe bring a crate or a car. And then sightseer. Keep repeating, until your warehouse is full and then sell it. I know it's time consuming but there is nothing quick. Everyone has their own way of making money. With my method I earn 100k in 1 hr.
I used to play this game back in 2013 on xbox 360, back then to make money the best way was rockstar jobs. This was before heists. I recently came back to the game on pc and it doesnt have that warm feel like before
To enter a solo public lobby, open Task Manager -> Performance -> Resource Monitor, find the process for GTA V, right-click -> Suspend, wait ten seconds or so, then resume. You should be in a solo public lobby when you return to the game. You can tell if it worked by the long list of players who 'left' the session you were in.
Thank you so much for this after all these years. I completed GTA V in PS3 but never joined the online gameplay. This is a perfect video for me to start.
Real talk - narrator got that Morgan Freeman going on. In the beginning, the vocal cadence was that of a museum curator. By the end, he's dropping fucks like some new player will be saying to themselves soon as they get griefed by random 12 yr old with Opressor Mk II. I digress. Great upload, just subscribed and notified. Look forward to more. Cheers and stay positively uplifted~
Simple:do the treasure hunts, buy a high end house,do the heist and setups in order for extra money, buy an arcade than an penthouse,do the missions, buy an office, buy a vehicle warehouse(or a create warehouse if u want),a bunker THEN...........GET MONEYYYYYYYY then buy the mc then all business then a facility if u want and at the end nightclub (sorry if I forgot anything)
Please... PLEASE continue the racing guide series! After suffering mentally from all the cargo griefers and stuff, I just wanted to take a break and racing just seemed so promising. I hope you do continue it soon!
Wish this was out when i started 3 months ago lol. I legit hit an overall $20,000,000 before expenses with a 103 Rank in literally 3 months of OG playing
I started playing GTA online for the first time a month ago and im glad to tell you after hours of solo grinding, I've reached level 100 and i own a ceo office, Night club, Warehouse, Cars warehouse, terrobyte with drone and vehicle work shop and turret, oppressor Mk2 , Karuma, Bati 18, rihono tank, and other vehicles, within my first month and i gotta tell you i really went through alot in this game i've been griefed badly by high level players multiple times and trolled alot through out this journey but never gave up and made it to all of that without buying no shark cards but only honest hard grinding and i usually help new players grind for their ceo office with my oppressor mk2 now
Also Pro Tip; Get the MK2 Oppressor as soon as you can! For two main reasons 1) Self Defense; People who are literally brain dead use it to grief non stop. However, the absolute best counter to the 11 year old on a MK2 is another Mk2. Once you know how to use it you'll be unstoppable from griefers. 2) Grinding; People hate the MK2 (see above reason) but it is single handily the best grinding vehicle in the game. Need to get across the map fast? Mk2. Need to complete head hunter VIP mission in record time? Mk2. Need to steal supplies that have enemy vehicles that need to be blown up? Mk2. Need to get on a roof? Mk2. (The reasons are too many tbh) The MK2 gets a bad rap because it's used for the most absolutely evil shit in the game, but that doesn't change the fact it's one of the best (if not best) overall vehicles in the game.
I made a new account and started over after not playing for a long time so I was back to the beginning but all I want to say that this video is amazing, how? well by: talking in a slow and clear way with no filler words for understanding, some smooth background music on a low volume and amazing editing to help clarify and more so these are super useful tricks that high levels use and many people recommend.
I'm 13 and I don't know what you guys have against us to play the game, no I not grief no I don't buy shark cards I get everything legimetaly and have an arcade, high end apartment, a 10 car garage, the chums bunker, all mc bussineses except the document forgery, 2 medium crate warehouses, a crate warehouse, and rank 107 all without anything(also note thAt I got the criminal enterprise starter pack but I didn't know anything that was ij it so I just used the turismo and office to do VIP work and do survivals sing I thought they were the best money maker, and when I foujd out about there uses I've already trade them in for a better location property) so yeah my question why the hell do you find us kids on the game bad
Yes the most important part of this video, new players should ALWAYS aim for the Armored Kuruma then the Buzzard. Makes a lot of missions and of course the Headhunter a breeze.
I'll be honest with you, you sound like a smooth jazzy gangster recently become mob boss, and the voice I love, the knowledge and the tips, I'm great fun to finally find, and it'll help me make more money than others, as they are setup for already rich to be richer, and I'm never at the rich point, so I have to struggle to get 210k per day, I hope that with your tips I can make far more a day than 210k solo, and eventually find friends to heist with, and sell with, adding far more money per day

Well done as a veteran I appreciate your work. It is difficult to keep up with everything for new players and your guide helps a lot, will send it to friends.
Some other, more unconventional tips for the newcomers:
1: When you are creating your character, put as many points into Strength, Stealth and Lung Capacity as the game allows, since those skills are the most time-consuming to increase.
@@jordstuff sell full, 3 vehicle can do them all solo with buzzard or op2 except post op vans

Im a level 300.. but i watch this because gta series makes masterpiece video

This mans voice could convince me to do anything
Whenever i come back to gta online, i never always take too seriously because of how much pay to win it has become. Most of the time, i just earn money in gta online and buy new vehicles. And solo contact missions to earn money buy clothes and vehicles. Which was essentially what gta online was back then
Can’t believe this game still have people making beginner guide in 2020
... and R* still making new content for it.
Because it was free for a while last week maybe???
That's how you know that it's a good game.
@2015 was even more grindy, there are easier money making methods now.
Back then fun was the only thing that mattered, not money.
yeah, today it's all about money :v
Adversary modes are still populated when there’re double money
I hella agree, the money we can make now is crazy but everything got inflated too.
I remember having so many crazy and fun experiences in the earlier days, now all I ever do is hop from business to business to sell and resupply. It's more a job than a game at this point.
It still is fun, you don't need money to have fun, as Astro Soup has once stated. And to make it better, you'll need friends to kick it up with.

Dude i love your videos. even tho im a 127 but ur vids are so helpful. MUCH respect to you🙌🏽👑
I've been playing for 5 years now and still stuck on 1.7 mil. I wish we didn't have to grind so much. All I want is the jetpack to hang out with my mates.
You need the Facility first to be able to buy that thing :S
@@mehmeteminsavas6555 Thanks man. I hope I meet one soon. Stay safe in this quarantine!
@@mehmeteminsavas6555 Rockstar doesn't ban your account?
If you have been playing for five years and you still are stuck on 1.5 mil you’re doing something wrong. Either you’re spending all your money on luxury cars or clothes or you play the game very infrequently like once every few months or so.
To new players: joining groups on Facebook and forum websites really help. I’ve done heists with people and so far they’ve been helpful and actually gives good cuts from heists. Just ask the group if they need assistance. Like he said, experience is key. Get a feel for each mission and pretty soon you’ll be a pro.
This was pretty helpful.
Even as a longtime GTA fan, it took me quite a while to actually dip my toes into GTA Online.
*Contact Mission's is always a good start*
I saw many many youtube videos about how to make money in GTA Online, as solo, as crew, as new, pro.
This is by far, The BEST video I ever saw. It is so good, I like to watch it just by the beauty of it.

Your voice is calming, Sir Gary! Kudos to you!
damn bro, this video is really good. i've been playing since 2013 but i haven't played at all this year so i'm kinda lost. This has the feel of an E3 gameplay or an official trailer, amazing editing and narration
Man I remember when grinding 2 weeks solid for a Vacca and a high end apartment was a goal (thank you 2013 stimulus package)
I already made millions thanks to your guide, so I'm just here to enjoy your visual presentation and Gary7MT's voice
I'm new in gta5 online like 1 month ....and was looking for some guides ...but yours are the best one ...thanks so much ;))
Do you play on ps4?
@@mattmanaysay3341 pc
Well just dupe issis and make 1.9 mil a minute
Great video btw. I appreciate you, GTA Series Videos, for making this video for newbies, giving them an idea on their to do list in terms of the already mentioned CEO freeroam missions guide, the businesses + CEO missions combined guide, the heists and more. There may be other GTA youtubers that are higher in subs than this channel (which I won't name), but you guys pick honesty and quality over the rewards that you guys get if you know what I mean. But anyways, great video, I'm gonna need it in the future.

PS, 3:59 one of my favourite movies and one of the best GTAO memes combined, this is a delicious meme indeed.
That would be PC only. Not very useful on console, which doesn't have a Task Manager.
I'm not really a new player, I've been playing the game for 3 years but I just like watching these videos

I started playing GTA online for the first time a month ago and im glad to tell you after hours of solo grinding, I've reached level 100 and i own a ceo office, Night club, Warehouse, Cars warehouse, terrobyte with drone and vehicle work shop and turret, oppressor Mk2 , Karuma, Bati 18, rihono tank, and other vehicles, within my first month and i gotta tell you i really went through alot in this game i've been griefed badly by high level players multiple times and trolled alot through out this journey but never gave up and made it to all of that without buying no shark cards but only honest hard grinding and i usually help new players grind for their ceo office with my oppressor mk2 now
All I can see is a high level just circling new people to make sure no one greifs them
You’d be making so much money Rockstar employees will be confused and shocked😂
Also Pro Tip; Get the MK2 Oppressor as soon as you can! For two main reasons
1) Self Defense; People who are literally brain dead use it to grief non stop.
Mk2. (The reasons are too many tbh)
The MK2 gets a bad rap because it's used for the most absolutely evil shit in the game, but that doesn't change the fact it's one of the best (if not best) overall vehicles in the game.
yes but it is also 3 mil, and a vehicle warehouse is way more worth it than a random flying bike
correction, 6 mil (nightclub terrorbyte mk2) otherways without the missiles its useless af because the machine guns shoot nerf darts
this makes me want to make a new character
I appreciate this. I just got GTA V for PC (after playing on PS3/4 for 5+ years), so starting fresh is tough.

The problem with this game being free on epic games is that children below the age of 12 have access to it.
I doubt they even have gaming PCs
Even a 8 year old child could just press the buy button and then well. See what kind of legal trouble epic and rockstar are soon gonna get in
I've already met many kids with their birth date in their name like 09, 07, 08 once i even found someone with 2011
@Dougie who knows you can train the child in the ways of online and turn him into a good player
Anyone else still play story mode to this day?
I'll be honest with you, you sound like a smooth jazzy gangster recently become mob boss, and the voice I love, the knowledge and the tips, I'm great fun to finally find, and it'll help me make more money than others, as they are setup for already rich to be richer, and I'm never at the rich point, so I have to struggle to get 210k per day, I hope that with your tips I can make far more a day than 210k solo, and eventually find friends to heist with, and sell with, adding far more money per day
