I just put a bowl of water in the microwave, microwave for a minute and wipe it off. No smell, no fancy products required. Yeah, all it's supposed to do is loosen the grime but it does help
Anya Klum to add, you’re not supposed to use chemical sprays because of heating food. Just like how you’re not supposed to spray the inside of your oven.
I microwave the water and bring it to a boil and then wipe.
Right - 7 minutes is way too long - it burned off all the liquid and left the grime too dry to wipe off.
I use lemon juice so it smells good as well

re: angry mama -- you can literally just fill a glass bowl with water and lemon juice, microwave for a few minutes and get the same results.

The "angry mama" is meant to break down the grease and gunk in the microwave so you don't have to scrub as hard. The pickle fork is great for a party/gatherings.

Uncrustable maker: press and cut the sandwich out first (on the counter or a cutting board, not a paper towel) like a cookie cutter. THEN press down on the top to seal the edges. Use the top to press the sandwich out if it gets stuck in there.
Can also be used to make mini pies and dumplings/ravioli, etc.

RE: microwave cleaner, I just put a glass jar half full of water, put it in the microwave for 3-5 minutes, and then wipe clean. The steam softens the gunk on the walls and comes off easily, and no stinky smell.

So for cleaning microwaves, there’s an easy solution my mama taught me! Haha (and the angry mama is basically a fancy more expensive way haha). But my mom would just take water and put it in a microwave safe dish. Then microwave it for a few minutes. Then wipe it out. The water steams the microwave and just helps to soften the tough messes to make it easier to wipe out. The hot steamy water softens the stains, then you quickly wipe it, then done!
@@janbrastineford3080 That's not easier if you have to use a bunch of paper towels. If you're someone who uses paper towels to clean everything that's like only wearing disposable clothing. Just use washable rags. Yes microwaving water to create steam can help but so does just spraying it down with cleaner and letting it soak a few minutes. If you just cover your food while heating it up though you can get rid of the problem all together wow magic

As a blind person, I feel like a strainer you can clip onto a pot would be really useful for me. You only have to worry about getting the water into the sink - the need to actually get your pasta, or whatever you need to strain the water/liquid from into the strained in the sink (i.e. the need to be able to aim for multiple things simultaneously) is eliminated

Daryl Hollenbeck they make computers that will read what is on screen for you. They can also type out what you say in response. Plus tying is mostly memory anyway so if someone taught you the letters you could type without looking. And I’m pretty sure braille keyboards also exist.
Daryl Hollenbeck I use an iPhone and an iPad. Apple, as a company, has features in settings that you can turn on that will help you make the context on your screen larger, or it can be read aloud. There are also devices that can be attached to computers to convert what’s on the screen into Braille on a display. There’s lots of amazing technology features that blind and visually impaired people use to help them use phone, computers, and all kinds of other devices sighted folks use all the time!

I think the angry mama device is just to disinfect and you have to physically wipe down the surfaces probably beforehand and then completely disinfect.

My mom sold pampered chef for so long when I was growing up and honestly it was amazing because it encouraged my siblings and I to be in the kitchen with her from really young ages and now we're all at least halfway decent at cooking for ourselves!
I sold it for 5 years & my kids love being in the kitchen! The majority of the products are really great too!
I purposely took anything pampered chef that my mom didn't use anymore when I moved out because I knew the quality would last me a good amount of time!

For that butter knife, angles are EVERYTHING!! It’s actually really simple. For the one with tons of holes (it’s the only one that I use) you hold it on the top of the butter at a 20 degree angle and it will curl it and it does make it easier to spread. Just thought you might wanna know.

Our family has that butter spread thingy and you are supposed to cut the butter at room temperature, we have a little plate and cover for our butter and it’s on the counter, and it will cut A LOT better! Luv your vids! ♡︎♡︎

The uncrustable makers is actually an empanada sealer we use that at my house during the holidays and we make pumpkin empanadas with them.
