Just like with Tomboy, Soyeon once again revealed that some people at the company weren't sure about releasing this track - thinking that it was perhaps too "erotic". But she still fought for it, so I'm so glad that its reception has been so positive. This will encourage I-DLE to keep taking risks and push boundaries in a industry that unfortunately women still don't have much freedom to do so. Especially an idol group. And Cube will hopeful keep investing in them with the resources to do so too. Because we all know they would be like "I told you so" if 'Nxde' wasn't a success and perhaps the next comeback wouldn't have the big budget the girls deserve. Just like with Tomboy, Soyeon once again revealed that some people at the company weren't sure about releasing this track - thinking that it was perhaps too "erotic". But she still fought for it, so I'm so glad that its reception has been so positive. This will encourage I-DLE to keep taking risks and push boundaries in a industry that unfortunately women still don't have much freedom to do so. Especially an idol group. And Cube will hopeful keep investing in them with the resources to do so too. Because we all know they would be like "I told you so" if 'Nxde' wasn't a success and perhaps the next comeback wouldn't have the big budget the girls deserve. 진짜 전소연은 작사 작곡해서 아티스트라 불리는 아티스트가 아니라 예술을 하는 화가이자 스토리를 음악으로 전하는 소설가이자 음악가같다... 3분4초라는 짧은 시간 안에 전하고싶은 내용이 모두 담긴거같다. 그리고 자신이 전하고싶은 내용을 음악으로도 모두 녹여낸거같지만 뮤비에서 너무 과하지도 그렇다고 숨기지도 않은 적당하고 한국에서는 과감한 의상들로 뮤비를 찍은게 너무 마음에 들었다. 또한 마릴린 멀로와 전소연이 아크릴 케이지안에 갖혀서 화려한 의상을 입고 경매 물품으로 나온것같은 장면에서 이건 한편의 예술 작품 같은 느낌을 받았다. 나는 그렇게 느꼈고 뮤비 마지막에 뱅크시의 풍선과 소녀가 경매의 낙찰되었을때 절반으로 파쇄됀 것을 오마주한걸 보면서 전소연은 진짜 음악이 아니더라도 어떤걸 했어도 성공하고 유명해졌을거같다. 계속 느끼는 거지만 전소연은 한국의 아이돌이라는 나무에서 아이들이라는 그룹의 열매를 만들어 떨어지고 힘든 고난과 역경의 시간을 이겨내고 마침내 싹틔우고 아이들이라는 한그루의 나무로 자란거같다.
I strongly agree. This is my most favorite comment out of all that I have read here. Jeon Soyeon would have been successful no matter what career she pursued. The hard work, the determination, and the talent are all in her. I'm so thankful she pursued being an artist so we can enjoy songs like Nxde now 💖
