Thanks for this sis, we are going to Mexico next week, Mexico city is our first stop and Our Lady of Guadalupe is my main purpose of going to the city, I have know the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Grade 5 because that is my section in Quiapo Parochial School. I don't have any else in mind for mexico city aside from our Lady's Shrine and Food hehehe. i plan to hop on a red bus so it is easier for the kids too. but the tour that goes to the Basilica starts at 10 am. I plan to attend the 6am mass so it is not too hot yet.

Thank you Frugal Inay for the comment. It is a one of a kind experience. The Basilica has different churches so make sure to visit all of them. There are so much to do in the city. check po online the different tours available. We book some tours. We also utilized Uber when travelling on our own. Have fun po and stay safe.

Uber is you best option. It's safer than Taxi if you don't speak spanish.

We stayed in Holiday Inn Express Basilica. 12 mins away from the Church. I recommend that Hotel because it's decent and cheap too. Go to Kayak.com and compare prices for the hotel, you could also navigate the closest hotel from the Church.
