I just got the compact, it’s amazing. The quality and strength are crazy
The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

I found a bag of 60 little arrows in the woods. I thought they were throwing darts but I couldn't get them to work. Guess I'll need a bow now lol
So… I own both the Steambow Stinger 2 - Tactical & Compact models including all the accessories plus a bunch of all 3 types (blue, black, red) of Steambow arrows. However I do find that in some occasions the fletching gets stripped right off the arrow because the speed loader is quite stiff, so when you pull hard, sometimes the fletching comes off to or then gets stuck in the magazine chamber. Think I’ve lost about 8 or so bolts, now I just hand load them. Some of the red ones I’ve tried to repair but they will never fly as good as new. However Steambow are a great company & I own other products by them.
Hello SparkyMTB. Thank you for your kind words! The speedloaders get softer with some use - so your problem will soon be gone. Don´t force the arrows into the speedloader, ideally you pull the speedloader a little bit apart so that the arrows slide in without mcuh resistance. When loading your crossbow pull up and a little bit forward.

@@Steambow i got the same problem, broken fletching using the speedloader, you should just make interchangeable magazines.
I was thinking about getting the speed loader but those were my exact thoughts. You guys just saved me some money. I will not be purchasing a speed loader.

Vor erster Benutzung der Schnelllader V2 aus der frischen Packung bitte gut Silikonspray drauf, auch von innen! Sonst ganz schnell Finger-Aua und nicht gut für die Vanes. Paarmal rein und raus, dann flutscht es. (Auch ein Deutscher stellt sich halt manchmal botschert an ;-) )

Ich finde die Teile nicht so gut. Die machen auf Dauer die Vanes kaputt. Habe mir auch 2 Stück zugelegt, aber nutze diese nicht. Vielleicht vorgeladen für den Notfall....?
Die Variante V2 aus Kunststoff wird durch die Benutzung weicher und geschmeidiger. Das kann man beschleunigen in dem man mit den Speedloadern ein wenig "spielt".
Wenn Dir die Vanes beim Beladen der Speedloader kaputt gehen - dazu gibt es einen Trick. Am besten du steckst einen Finger als Abstandhalter in den Speedloader, dann gleiten die Pfeile mühelos hinein. Wir werden dazu aber bald noch ein Video machen. Wenn es beim Nachladen der Armbrust passiert, dann ziehst du vielleicht in die falsche Richtung. Nach oben und leicht nach vorne ist die ideale Zugrichtung.

Does the AR-6 have wax for string or do we need to buy a replacement string? I am plaining to buy both AR-6 Stinger II and AR-6 Compact
A spare string is included with the Tactical and Compact. Of course, the string wears out with a crossbow and a replacement string is never wrong by frequent use. Additionally, you can extend the life of the string by greasing or spraying silicone on the rail of the crossbow. It is also highly recommended at the rear when the stinger is cocked.

I'm not sure what you mean, but one arrow in the magazine and then using the speedloader to reload the remaining 5 arrows is a perfect use.
