"what is this The Holiday" 😂
I'm going to Japan in three days for the first time ever and I cannot wait. This vlog is everything! Thank you for letting us in on the journey!
Have such a good time! Safe travels today!!
Japan is so-called heaven in every aspects.
This has me wanting to go back to Japan so bad. I went in 2017 and pretty much since I returned I’ve wanted to go back. Such a out this world country that words really can’t describe.
I went for the first time in 2022 and currently saving and planning for a 2024 trip and I’m so excited! Your video helped fill that Tokyo void for now 😭 appreciate you cos I know vlogging and editing is not the easiest ❤
I’m going to Japan in november of this year so still a while but I watch these videos to get my excited for it!
No one saw your pimple until you mentioned it😂We are enjoying listen to you.Never appologize for that type of thing miss
im going to japan in 7 days im so so excited. one of my biggest childhood dream! have fun carrie :)
Coco Curry is my FAVORITE restaurant in Japan, I always have to go at least once. I just got back from my 5th time in Japan but I love seeing the vlogs cause it feels like I’m right back there!
LIVING for this, Tokyo is TOP on my bucket list
AH SO EXCITED FOR YOU! Please do a video after with like the top 10 tips for a trip to Japan! 🤩
This reminded me of my first visit to Japan in April 2019 and it was so surreal. I hope to visit again soon 😊
Excited for this video!!! 🤪☺️
😍😍. Jazzy. I hope you’re doing well.
It’s so crazy to see you in Japan. I live here on an island called Okinawa, on a military base. And it’s cute how you’re reacting to daily things that I experience like coco’s and family mart. Glad you’re team family mart 😂💚💙
Ha! I was at Meiji Shrine when you were. I saw that same bride.
We're flying to Japan in a week's time and so excited! THank you for your videos and the tips!
Yes been waiting for this vlog! Thank you for always taking us along ❤
Love this so much! Happy Anniversary!! Thanks for bringing us with you!!
So fun and beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
I lived in Japan for a year! Ahh I miss it so much 😭 you’ll love Tokyo! Make sure to go to Kamakura Daibutsu (it’s a quick train ride) as well as the ramen museum and cup noodle museum (all a quick train ride from Tokyo)! Hope you’re going to Kyoto and Osaka. Ahh enjoy!
Omg Japan looks like so much fun!!! Happy anniversary to you both!
Been waiting for this vlog all day ❤️❤️
This looks like so much fun!! I would love to see a video about how you plan a trip like this.
YES FINALLY!!! Been super stoked waiting for this vlog. 🥰😁😁😁
this made my heart so happy for you guys
All I can say is have a incredible, freaking amazing, indescribable vacation you guys!
Happy anniversary 🎉 I was rewatching your first trip to Japan like 2 weeks. Glad you shared your trip again 😊
I was excited for this vlog! Thank you for sharing your adventures!
Your music choices have been ON POINT lately 🙌🏼 such a vibe
So happy for you and Drew! Happy belated Anniversary! Looks like an amazing time.
I love the cherry blossoms, it is so cool there and the food looks amazing!
Your makeup in the blue and white outfit is so stunning. Especially the eyes
Thank you for sharing parts of your trip. Haven't been on a vacation for a decade and have never been outside of Europe. So I love watching travel vlogs from around the world. Have loads of fun!
CARRIE!!!!!!!! i'm super excited to finally see glimpses of your trip and so far it seems incredible 💞💞💞 i left a comment on your ig a while back saying how happy i am to see my favorite creator visit my all time favorite city and AHHHHH! i visited back in 2019 and it's just so nostalgic seeing some of those familiar spots again all these years later. i haven't been able to watch any japan content (apart from my own pics and videos) ever since my trip simply bc i miss it so much, but you definitely made going back memory lane worth it! here's to more japan adventures in the future - hopefully for the both of us❣
So amazing! Definitely in my family's bucket list! Thanks for sharing and...Happy Anniversary ❤❤❤
I would fly back to Japan just for CoCos Curry. We lived there for 4 years and loved every second of it ❤ Gotta get the pork double meat, spice level 10 😩🤤 My husband and I talk about going back to Japan all the time! Glad you loved it so much! We hope to live out there again if the stars align 😊
I remember watching the anniversary vlog years ago when you and Drew went to that little strawberry motel ❤🍓.
Happy anniversary mom & dad! So glad you got to go back to Japan!
This is bringing back so many memories of our trip to Japan in 2019!! We did a lot of the same things and ate a lot of the same things LOL (the chicken in the hot case at 7-11 was our FAVORITE - I still dream about it)
Looks like you had an amazing time! Can't wait for the rest of the vlogs 🤗
This might sound dumb but how easy is it to get around Tokyo if you don’t speak any Japanese?
Have a blast. Hope you’re feeling better.
Yay!! Been so excited for these videos 🙌 would you consider a packing rec video for international travel? Or even like what you packed and did/didn’t use on this trip? I’m going international in the fall and am stressing for how to build cute outfits but travel light 😅 love you! ❤
Great vlog! Love the Japanese vending machines. I hope you don't get sick!
That’s it, I NEED to go back and gonna start saving now!
I'm so excited for your trip and to share it through your vlogs. Japan is on my travel wishlist and I'm hoping to go next year. I am interested in trying to travel with carry on only so would love to hear your thoughts about it and what you packed once you get home. Looking forward to the next instalment already. Safe travels 🗻
The timing of this video is wild because I’ve been watching TikToks of Japanese travel for two days. Obsessed!!!
The algorithm knows 😂
Really fun vlog - loved the night view.
Thank you for your experience through your eyes.
You absolutely MUST put magnets on the back of those surprise ball minis for your fridge!!!
I saw the cherry blossoms and I was immediately jealous. My plan is to go next year.
Last tripp to Japan I remember arriving at Tokyo Station from the plane, and the directions to our hotel said "turn left" - we laughed because - why not? - and then luckily were approached by a Japanese guy who heard our Australian accents and offered to help. His parents ran a restaurant in Sydney, so it was him giving a little back. The really funny thing is that once we found the right exit the hotel really was just to the left!!
I was in Tokyo just a few weeks before you and I loved it so much and cannot wait to go back and explore more of Japan. Loved being able to experience it again through your vlog.
How did you find eating in Japan this trip versus the last time you went when you and Drew were vegan? IIRC you guys seemed to get frustrated at the lack of vegan options, so I’m glad you were able to try all the yummy food this time.
How English-speaking friendly is Japan? I would love to visit but I’m not sure how much language background I would need to establish before I go
Japan is on my bucket list!
I feel like our relationships are so similar. My husband and I met in a similar way to you and drew. I was in a super toxic relationship, and my husband was always a friend to me. Years later we started dating and within one year got married. I know you guys aren’t married but the amount of time and the circumstances are so similar! Our 5 year anniversary was march 31st. But we’ve also been together a total of 6 years. Y’all are so cute ❤
日本を楽しんでくれていて嬉しいです。またきて下さいね〜✨動画楽しみにしています😊
Happy Belated Anniversary!! ❤
Literally just got back from Japan on Sunday! The jet lag is real 🥴
You know Tokyo well. Nice tour.
LOVE ❤️
Not sure how long you're there for but Sakura Tei in Harajuku is amazing for diy okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Super fun experience.
Ah! I may be too late, but I studied abroad for a year right between Osaka and Kyoto! Great little areas for Sakura spotting (Ohanami)
Currently in Tokyo watching this vid!!! ❤❤ this is our first time and we don’t want to leave. We went to see Godzilla after seeing you in Shinjuku
Hi all good morning happy Tuesday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you and I enjoy your channel
Hey girl! I live in Japan and you came at the perfect time to see all the cherry blossoms!. I'm sure you're already back to the states , but if you're still in Osaka go to Northshore Pancakes, the POKEMON stores *some have cafes MUST HAVE A RESERVATION * , and go to a Mandrake *toy store* . You and your boyfriend will love Mandrake, it's my favorite anime shop.
Pleaseeeeee do a japan travel tips video ❤
Amazing🎉✨
Looks amazing! Also love your jacket, where's it from? ❤
You need to try an egg salad sandwich from 7/11 before you leave!! It was my go to breakfast during my semester abroad since we had a 7/11 right below our dorm
Thank you for sharing !! One of my dream holiday destinations! Do you think there was much food variety for dietary requirements such as vegans ?❤
Great video
I've been here in Japan for a week now. I landed in Haneda as well. Did you have to go through a long line at immigration? I think you were lucky to get in to that Starbucks--because you were so early you didn't have to wait in line. The gyoza meal was all Chinese food, actually. It looked yummy!
Welcome to Japan!!
i could so see you living in Japan!
I want to go back so bad, Tokyo is so fun
Nice❤
😱😱 I am in Japan as well!!!
The holiday reference :D
if we didn't already know drew was a real one..he came in with the holiday reference!! I would have said that too lol
I went to the Donkey in HK and grabbed like $100 of snacks for my family to take in my checked luggage 😂😂
Do you have any luggage recommendations? For roller bags for international flights?
it is too late but tuna mayo is the best onigiri. Also, 711 egg salad sandwich is the best sandwich. (best sandwich of all sandwiches, lol i will die on this hill)
Yummmmm! All that amazing food!
Every time you say Shibuya I go "sha sha shabooya role call" iykyk
We go to Japan once every two years to visit family and my allergies always act up in Japan, so I wonder if you just had allergies? Plus the dry air from
The long flight
Wow your Tokyo hotel is huge by Tokyo standards.
I would starve over there!! LOL
北海道にも是非!
I love Japan 💓
The Taylor Swift playing in the terminal!!!!
日本🇯🇵楽しんでくださいね
😊😊
Were you in premium economy or comfort plus?
looks like an amazing trip!! Did you guys find the train stations difficult to navigate? I feel that would cause me some stress if I ever got to go
How’s the size difference in Japan? Are seats and clothing accommodating or all y’all considered giants there? 😬
Did you get a JR pass?
24:03 Did you know you could have turned your two seater seat around and face your friends in the back row in Shinkansen?
Is it normally cloudy in Japan or does it still get sunny?
March, April are a little cloudy, sometimes sunny.
May and June are rainny season,
July, August, are very sunny but very humid.
September is a little cloudy or rainny, still a little humid.
In October and November, it depends on the weather, but many
sunny days.
December, January, Feburary are winter season, so cold.Rainny or snowy.
The most wholesome enjoyable travel vlog!! Y’all are having SUCH a great time, it’s lovely to see. It’s epic that the d*cks made a cameo in the 2023 vlogs 😂🍆 🇯🇵
Earlier, I was annoyed to see Vrog full of prejudice against Japan by Germans.
But your Vlog made me feel better.
With love from Japan.
Happy Anniversary! Also, thank you for showing wearing a mask as a normal thing. A lot of peeps seem to take them off to film even if they wear them and it is nice to see someone actually masking.
