Yeah, that's because the modern Yugioh metagame is trash. One guy comes up with a good deck then everyone just copies because they have no creative bone in their bodies. Can't wait until Rush gets released.

Its more like because the gameplay is becoming more aggressive and fast, that a lot of deck get power creep
@@bladeofizanami With this Banlist that arrived recently, I think the metagame is going to change drastically. Even because they released several old decks.
It's only an EX Structure Deck because Komoney is trapped in a delusional fantasy that their playerbase will literally buy anything. You would think that they put their draw engine Spell in at least to give them something but nope.
Komoney giving Odd-Eyes and Speedroid broken cards and skills but they can't even give Charmers their draw spell is just makes me wanna curl up and cry. XD

You have a GOOD point there. Konami should've went all out with Charmers then the deck would be worth buying for all. Especially with at least 2 added skills. We now have the atk boost spell but its a skill sadly.
@fruitybluieblue098 Yeah, the new skill is good since with Spirit Chamers, we can add a Charmer to reveal for the skill. But the fact still stands that Konami has been really inconsistent with good cards archetypes get when they come to the game, if that makes sense at all?
If Orcust can have their draw 2 added and then get their other good stuff, then why can't Charmers get their draw engine?
But at least the new Trap can banish itself to place the draw card back if it popped. Blair lines are another plus as she is my fave GX character.
Next: I reached KOG with pure charmers

If it wasnt for Noble Knight who abused the Balance skill then this deck could've been playable 😂
I think the best way to use Charmers, though I can't confirm this until they go on Dream Tickets, is to use them with Chaos cards and stuff that cucks Light Monsters. Ally of Justice and Elemental manips. I want to test it but you know Baldur's Gate 3 is out so I'll be doing a lot of that and when I sign in DL it'll just be to use Paradox or Sarena on the tablet. XD Quick nasty piercing damage and rank climb mindlessly I'm afraid. No clever decks combos here this year. ^^;
Things to fix this deck. A skill that gives your back row protection from targeting cards, only used once per duel. A skill that is based off their taking your opponents monsters. Make the continuous atk boost spell card a actual card in a booster box. Make the Charmer cards obtable from a booster box and alt arts from dream tickets. All this would make Charmers worth playing in rank against top decks, especially with their link monsters. Just no light or the dark one yet.
Both skills only for Charmers though. We wouldn't want other decks use back row protection skill lol. Especially Orcust and such😂
And the alt arts is just because why not. Many people really want their alt arts. Like they're really good, great art :)
There's a skill now. The continues spell fixes Charmers. Something I have NO idea why they didn't add to begin with. Konami should know that spell is the power of the deck.

Someone already made a charmer, magistus deck and they did 9-0 . Check it out maybe it can give you an idea .

Its still bad but it is better. The spell needs to be a actual card. And their skills should be more based off what they do, taking the opponents monsters.

Try mixing with Magistus or Invoker. Yes, Charmers deck is so bad doing pure.😂

don't think pure charmers but it works with magistus, I tried with magistus including the magician quintet in the extra deck or it could be with magistus dark magician or with the lightsworn engine and a black luster from techcard
We need more regular structure decks not Exs
They should have reprinted a good stable their like drnm or somrthing like this

This deck has so many problems it's honestly insulting, Konami think this unplayable mess is worthy of being a more expensive EX structure deck and won't even give it a skill, but then again what do I expect from them after they left Raging Pendulum, skill and the deck, completely untouched despite how long it has been overperforming

Maybe charmers are made to work alongside other decks and not as a pure charmers deck.
Not true. Pure Charmers in TCG and OCG are absolutely incredible and good because back row and their atk boost power spell. Finally extra deck plays going for game one your field is filled with Charmer monsters.
Konami should've went all out with this deck. Literally a waste of gems and money😂😅 And I love Spirit Charmers

The best way is only use the fieldspell and use it on other deck like magistus

I got a few wins with i used it in the event
What's even more annoying is that there's already a character with Charmer voice lines in the game with Blair Flannigan in GX, they could've given her a skill either for Charmers or for the stat line, letting her fit with the Fairy Tail monsters. Not only making the deck on its own more playable but giving people a reason to want to use a character that doesn't have much else to her name.

This EX Structure Deck is on pair with the Joker Knight one bc the Gearfried EX is decent at least
