For chest#23, the chest is definitely not random. The trigger for it to transform into a tanuki is if you walk on the ground close to the chest. To avoid that, you basically have to glide close enough to the chest for the open option to appear without stepping on the ground. If you fail, you have to wait for the next daily reset before it respawns and try again. Once you do manage to open it, the chest will no longer spawn.

If you are all confused about chouji’s chest. First: finish chouji’s chest in kannazuka. Wait for one day and talk to him again. Now give him 12 crystal marrows again and he’ll go to kannazuka. Second: go to kannazuka and teleport to baal’s statue, now go to southwest near the statue, if you find a path, follow it downwards you, you will find chouji there. Third: talk to him and he’ll go to inazuma city. Now, go to the shrine that this youtuber told us in inazuma and you will find chouji there
Finally, I have 250 spare Electro Sigils to get the Sacred Sakura Tree to Level 50 when it becomes available. All remaining Inazuma chests are pure gravy. Thank you so much!

I was missing four chests (the two electro cannon ones, the one you had to dig on the well, and the other in the small island in Fort Mumei, which I had totally missed to spot since it's not in the map.) If the numbers I found around are correct now I have absolutely everything found in Inazuma in general, what an amazing feeling, thanks for guiding me with those few left I couldn't find!
That’s very helpful. I had no idea so many IRL waiting time chests were here. I stopped playing around the time the second desert expansion launched. Was just sick of Sumeru. Then when Fontaine was finally announced I steamed rolled through the world quests just to catch up on what I had missed and been trying to basically 100% the game map since.
This video did not have the right sequence. Meaning he shows up at different spots the last spot being the shrine. Just search online for his quest and you'll find the proper sequence of where to find him

Either the last 3 aren't counted toward exploration progress or the progress number isn't accurate (most probably rounded). Also, make sure to clear Raiden castle, use interactive maps if needed, I actually missed several chests there. I found 3 chests there for my 60% exploration progress, now I'm at 346 chests in total. Also there's 22 normal seelie (most players found 21).
I got 354. 352 before 2.1, 2 chest were bugged. The tanuki chest (never could get it on 2.0, until 2.1 i was able to get it 9:58) And the chest on the boat near that caged guy (if you didnt get it before starting his mission it would disappear), the chest reappeared on 2.1.
Thanks for putting this vid out. Almost a year after Tsurumi island came out, I saw my Sakura Tree was at lvl 49 18/25 sigils. This video helped me get 4 more chests to complete it. Thanks very much again!

Omg, the canon chests only work if your graphics settings are high enough to show the explosion from so far. If you play on low graphics the chest will not spawn even if you shoot on the right spot
So for everyone confused about how many chests are there in inazuma for current (2.0) update and for everyone that is still missing some chests: (I'm not sure if this was mentioned in video, apologies it if was, I wasn't able to watch all of it yet) Currently max number of chests that you can check in achievements page for inazuma is believed to be either 354 or 355 Now, a lot of people are missing chests that were despawned for a period of time due to events being present in their areas. If you followed all tutorials and you're still missing a chest it is probably because of that. For example, I've followed every tutorial and ended up at 350 chests because I thought that I've already picked up some chests, but in reality at the time I was doing it there was an event that caused those particular chests to despawn. If you're missing just a few chests and really want them, I'd highly recommend getting Electro Treasure Compass after you hit level 9 reputation in inazuma and using it for finding those missing chests

no idea if its gonna help but i persoannly have 248 sigils, and my sakura tree at lvl40 as well. 348 chests, not counting the tanuki near narukami shrine and the girl to whom we have to give sweet flowers. im assuming we get one sigil from the tanuki chest at the shrine and at least one from the girl, which will bring it 250 sigils. or obv u can find some other hidden chests for the electro sigils

Should I ignore the Precious and Luxurious chests early game until I advance world level? Since they don’t respawn, do you know if the rewards are based on your level or world level?
Try go to the place where it shows the sparkle, then go to the canon WITHOUT TELEPORTING. Shoot and it'll appear. I had the same problem as you then I tried this and it worked

Well Archon quests was my main focus, then once all of Fontaine was open I went back to finish quests, Rep, find chests and weapons, and so on.

On mobile, it seems no matter how good your graphics are the second cannon chest just won’t spawn.

maybe next time you can zoom out the map so that the other players that is not pretty familiar with the map is gonna find the chest

No, they're fixed rewards. So it doesn't matter what world level you are at, you'll get the same things.

Try go to the place where it shows the sparkle, then go to the canon WITHOUT TELEPORTING. Shoot and it'll appear. I had the same problem as you then I tried this and it worked
