Flying again? I'm not normally one to complain about Pink as I love her but all of her performances seem to be her flying like it's the only thing she's able to sell now.
I went to a different arena (same tour and performances though) and she really only uses aerials in half of her songs. This is the only song where she flies around the WHOLE stadium and it's good for a finale song because then everyone, whether they bought cheap or expensive tickets, gets to have an up close experience with the performer. I actually thought it was a quite clever way to connect with the fans. But yeah, only half the songs have aerials and the rest are grounded to the stage.
Do you say the same thing about artists who have copious amounts of choreography in their shows and not much else besides an army of backup dancers because that's been exhausted to the hilt. Besides her incredible voice, Pink is known for her aerial stunts...when someone else can come close to doing what she does and sound that amazing-then I'll start complaining.
