Hi there 👋 once again I am enjoying watching and listening to you today. Your blankets are growing and that’s fun to watch. Please continue to share all your stories with us! I like hearing your son sitting by your side and adding to the conversation. When he read the story about the bird it made me smile 😃 we have pigeons and seagulls here that entertain us and also make a mess 💩. Thank you 😊 for posting this video.
Sherrie! Thank you SO MUCH! You are so kind and sweet. It makes me happy that our little videos can provide a smile :) Oooh you have seagulls! I totally understand about the mess hehe. Thank you again my dear!
I thoroughly enjoy your videos. So cool that one blanket is lighter and the other heavier. The fact that your son chimes in makes your videos more personal & interesting. Loved the “Bob the pigeon” story!
I might not watch your videos immediately but I definitely watch them when I have time.
Absolutely loved listening to your son read the story about “Bob the pigeon.”
I love tunisian crochet and do it all the time! To prevent curl I do 3 rows of reverse simple stitch at the beginning and sometimes every so often just to add another design element to my simple stitch, or I may do all extended simple stitch throughout or just a few rows of extended simple stitch in between my simple stitch rows. I do go up a hook size or two but if you are only adjusting your hook size then you end up with a very hole-y item. Which is fine for a scarf, not fine for a blanket. One the other hand, you can take advantage of the curl on a collar. I always use 2 or 3 stands when I’m doing just simple stitch so those first few rows of reverse SS is very important as I don’t want to spend more than a week on a large afghan.
Thank you so much for your kind and helpful advice! I appreciate that and will definitely try it out. ❤️❤️ i appreciate it so much!
Good
