i want perfection:no step back soviet union
i said PERFECTION:NOT A STEP BACK achievement as the Soviet Union -Hearts Of Iron IV
perfection:Disaster Save:Turkey - No stability - NO INDUSTRY - no step back
get that bag my man!
I think the "Disaster-Sender" has heard of the new DLC and accidentally spent his time building Infrastructure instead of Railways and Hubs and, of course, instead of Civs and Mils.
So people send their saves to this guy? Or how does this work?
I thought the RUclipsr creates the disaster and tries to save it
People email me their disasters and I try to salvage the run
@@Bitt3rSteel oh that's so cool
@@Bitt3rSteel any chance you could save one of my turan saves? Even if you don’t play through it just tell me what I did wrong so I could improve?
11:04 3 mils when you have 50 total factories sounds like an absolute deal.
In hindsight...yeah
and only for 70 days and a bit of pp
The first focus after "Reconfigure Turkish Foreign Policy" conserning the soviets is "Renew the Soviet Non-Aggression Pact". If i remember correctly the penaly of breaking NAP through call to arms is 20 stability. Also, at 19:33 you did not scroll to check for any debuff that might occur from you accepting the call to arms from Germany.
I think I've figured it out. The reason for all the problems with Turkish government is, as always, Kurdistan. Each time you try to decrease their resistance you have a chance to increase it instead and lose some stability. There is no cap on how much you can decrease the stability and how much you can click the buttons, but the probability of success drops each time you fail.
I don't know if it has been patched out, but succeed or fail the kurdish thing rewarded some PP. You could go crazy with it, and end up with 0% stability but max out PP. Then spend all that PP and repeat. You had a full set of advisors by 1936 and enough PP for the rest of the game, with time to spare for recover stability before going to war
@@miguelrodriguezcimino1674 It gives 25 pp on fail, which is not a lot imo
@@ДмитроПрищепа-д3я when BftB was just released, the command power wasn't spent when the button was clicked, so you could just keep smashing it until your finger got tired, so you racked up 2000 PP, spent it and repeat. It was patched and now the CP gets consumed and you have to wait until it goes back up, so it has a really long cooldown
So don't click the button just wait for it to go down and don't lose ifinite stability
@@feldspar1496 you can also just stop caring, let them revolt and crush them. I think it still hasn't been patched and after they rise up the penalties disappear.
No stability, no industry? Looks like real life turkey
@Gigachad sounds kinda maoist, ngl
as a turkish i can say its %100 accurate
@@zarkadf agreed
Turkey doesn't need stability, they're too busy drone striking teenagers
@@Graknorke And the teens are too busy killing innocent people.
Me seeing this video at lunch time: THIS IS WHERE THE FUN BEGINS
So from what i’ve seen a lot of newer players keep a production line of old rifles going in order to keep their stockpiles topped off during infantry offensives. That would explain the 93 line.
I started doing that recently aswel, but not for infantry offesnives. No, i started doing that because why for fluffs sake would i give my garrisons the best equipment when the T0 weapons are chearper and don't negativly affect supression.
I only started doing it recently after I saw someone else suggest it. I’d like to think it helps keep a good supply of guns while the new line builds up efficiency
@@krios4141 or... Just give your garrisons division low priority and they'll be the last to reinforce with good equip... Better yet, just turn off their access to better guns...
@@MegaOgrady thats... what i do... i turn off their acces to better guns and keep one factory on teh cheapest ones... wich is more than plenty
I've never done that lol
He spent his time garrisoning kurdistan and repairing the shit they broke, while also building infrastructure and supply bases. How you managed to avoid strikes is beyond me.
27:36 - I love the way you pronounced Azerbaijan so perfectly in my home language(Azərbaycan) rather than using the classic European A-zur-bae-jaaan. As always, another brilliant Bitt3rSteel production :D
Yeah, I also have noticed the pronunciation, not much different than how we call in azerbaijani
I noticed that too, that was good.
Quick tip: No point of going to war economy, when you don't have one. (Also keep the supply hubs on double motorized in yours or your ally's territory to keep the supply up only do this on regions closer to your frontline and mutliple hubs supply will stack so don't worry about wasting motorized equipment on it and each level of motorization of hub uses 50+ motor each) {also turn of allied supply so the ai doesn't use up all of the supply with garbage divisions so your tanks or 14/4s can actually push}
My thinking was to get the construction boost from war economy to actually build stuff faster.
It has a decent impact once you get past 20 civs
This channel resumes to one thing of 2 words: Italy's incompetence! Now I want you to play Italy, maybe I'll start a game, do as Italy do, and submit it as disaster save... that would be fun!
Just send in an AI Italy game, lol
@@Bitt3rSteel nah, first he has to go communist with a civil war, don't repair anything, get to 0 stability and war support, don't build anything, don't train any troops, lose all the political power and the colonies and send in while in 1941 already at war with the soviet union and the allies, so it will be a real challenge
from my testing, the ai NEVER takes your core states in the peace deal if you're in a faction with them
Oh thank god the AI has some sense then
tell that to france with aquitaine
Flashbacks to earlier this week when Bulgaria was given Central Macedonia after the war and I had already declared Thessaloniki my new capital of Greater Greece.
@@silversnakeproductions3241 it definitely has something to do with vichy france. at least, the AXIS never took my cores, i completely forgot to mention that... even when playing releasable nations, axis leaves me be with my cores
not in my experience. played a democratic greece. went for greater greece. turkey joined axis. in peacedeal, britain satellited turkey with my cores in anatolia. nearly went nuts over it ooof.
No stability Turkish empire? So ottomans in 1917?
Ottomans, period.
@@90skidcultist well yes but actually *yes*
How about germany in 1920
20:13 Yeah, when you joined the war against the soviets, your stability dropped by 20%
I haven't played Turkey since Battle for the Bosphorus came out, so maybe it has been patched; but the kurdish mechanics allowed to tank the stability in exchange of obsene amounts of PP. It payed off if you kept doing it since once you got to 0% you could keep going and get enough time and PP to recover later, but by 1941 the stability should be back to acceptable levels
It's slightly adjusted as you actually spend command power now instead of just having to have 15 command power.
They fixed that now you actually spend the cp.
Sad times
We all knew that was too broken to last
I haven't had a lot of time to play HOI4 lately. These videos are awesome to satisfy the desire. I wish there were some way for you to make the saves available so we can try to save them for ourselves.
They are actually linked in the description of each video (the older ones have been purged now due to an issue with the Google drive)
@@Bitt3rSteel Thank you so much! I've searched other videos' descriptiom and didn't find, I guess I didn't look that hard. Keep up the awesome and entertaining work. Cheers from Brazil.
Yes, they need to optimize. I had a game running in 1944 and it was 10 seconds to the hour. And that was after defeating the USSR and China was annexed. Not sure if there is a lot of garbage that are continuing to calculate things for "dead" nations.
It’s probably just El Salvador attacking your computer.
I had this once too and it was 41. I barely started my attack on the Soviets as Poland so I believe it could be a bug that creates unnecessary calculations.
its because of the massive ai spams from mostly allied countries also tons of air and naval units
Like multicore support. No idea why that wasn't a priority. Those calculations surely could be loaded onto various threads. Knowing paradox their next engine won't have it either.
Thank you, I learnt a lot from your video. I thought it was impossible to save to be honest.
So...what did you do with your industry?
Also, is that Ukrainian? Looks Cyrillic to me
@@JonMI6 I spent most of the game building rails and roads because I couldn't understand the new supply system. and yes, it's Cyrillic, the language is Russian even though I am Ukrainian and live in Ukraine (:
@@biculies roads help with extracting more resources. Railroads help with the supplies. Roads can help with supplies but they’ll be useless if there’s no supply from railroads
Also, take care in Ukraine. I’ve tried learning Greek but those are some weird letters that I gave up on
Actually Greek, Latin and Cyrillic alphabeths are pretty similar. They come from the Egyption writing system and they differ to the main cultures in Roman Empire. Cyrillic is pretty close to Greek one and it is actually same alphabeth but the slavs desided to add some new signs and exclude some too. Even the order is same as greek in general. The only difficulty to read them is the font. I know Bulgarian and Turkish so I can read them all with no issues.
And where is Yuzhnosataninsk. Is that a real city?
-No industry? No stability?
-No step back
if you didnt know you can build a port which acts as a supply hub. its a ton cheaper and works just as well.
Always keep 1 mil factory on the starting/cheapest Gun you can this way your army will always have a guns even if they are shit. Shit gun is better than no gun.
The factory requires only 1 steel but can offer upto 20 rifles a day if maximum production efficiency is there.
This is better than having 10 better rifles a day but at the cost of 5 mils. As production efficiency takes a long time to build up.
In short always keep 1 mil factory on the cheap guns to maintain high efficiency on producing the bare necessities
18:39
Bitt3rSteel: Why am I having to do EVERYTHING for Italy
Mussolini: lol, Crimea campaign ftw
Beggining of the video: I can't eat this turkey
End of The Video: OOHHH I WANT IT NOW!!
7:13 Hey it wouldn't be better if you just built a naval base since it's on the coast? it's much faster to build than the supply hub and it's already connected to a railway, which will allow you to supply your troops.
as far as I can tell supply isn't cumulative when it comes to supply from different directions like that, a port would at most serve as a mini supply hub since they can be motorized (I think),
As far as I have tested you are right, much better to build a port.
Even more, I have noticed that the game takes railway connections over the port infrastructure even if that is decreasing the supply. Look at Tobruk 15:16 and after the connection to the railway system at 17:45.
But, hell, I am just some random gamer on the internet so I might be totally wrong....
Wow thats was an interesting game! I do have a question tho (concerning infrastructure and railways/supply hubs) how does the AI handle it? Do they build any at all or does the AI cheat?
I didnt know this disaster save had modern day mode on
He was roleplaying Turkey obviously
"I'm still building a railroad for you Italy, why do I gotta do everything?"
Relationships with Italy in a nutshell.
I love how Bitt3rSteel says he’s going to have fun in every video that he suffers
Ayyyyy congrats on the sponsorship man!!! Super deserved!!!
The first time I played Turkey with BftB I think I had that same focus tree. I remember that I got a focus tree where it was impossible to remove some debuff national spirits.
Basically, the order I selected the focus trees excluded me from the focuses I needed.
Imo that's bad design when for 1/4 focus trees, it's super possible to have an impossible to fix unstable government.
Turkey used mauser guns in ww1 so it is like remembering ottoman empire
The thumnail summaraises the state in which Turkey is in rn
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with performance issues starting in 1942 with NSB. It makes the game nigh unplayable anywhere past there.
No stalibity , no industry ,no step back.
"1943 and the game is running this slow"
Thats as fast as my 1936 dude
“I did that, not you, schmidt, Larry.” Oh auto-subtitles never change 😂
Hey Bitt3rSteel!
I wanted to ask you building the railways in Africa.
Firstly, why did you build a supply hub in the Sinai peninsula instead of building a port? Dont ports work the same but cost a fraction of the production?
Secondly, I saw you linking the supply depots by railway in Italy but from my testing I see a big problem with that. See how at 15:16 you can see that Tobruk is providing you with 30 supply? It is a harbor of 4 level ( i think). You have connected it to the railway grid and at 17:45 you can see how it actually decreased to 15 supply because that is the maximum for its railway capacity.
I did not do a lot of testing but from what I noticed the game always prioritizes the railway connection even if the harbor is at level 10. That means that it is sometimes better to not link up your railway grids so that the port installations are used by the game.
I can even see that in regions with big ports but crappy railways (eg.: caucausus, southeast asia) it might be beneficial to destroy your railways connecting the ports to your capital.
Moustache Man, on the subject of the Italians: "We trained them wrong, as a joke."
Output from this is "Did you delete your industry?"
You just hear the soul leave the body seeing the no manlower, no pp amd little industry
yooooo bitt3r getting his first aponsor (i think) star keeps shining
Bitter: "I really don't want to go Service, that's gonna ruin my economy!"
Hejaz: *fear*
I really love these videos because im still very bad at the game
20:08 accepting the call to arms made you lose 20 stability
Whoa, a modern Turkey playthrough
48 factories in 1940? Thats a lot of industry boi!!
This guy:
"Hm, this save is going well..but..That won't get Bitter Steel a new video so...WAH HA HA BURN IT DOWN, BURN IT TO THE GROUND!"
No stability? No industry? No step back!!!
Oh it is real life turkey
The only thing unrealistic is fhe fact there are no modified M60 Medium tanks
(Note: M60s are not Pattons. M48 was the last of the Patton Series tanks being the Patton 3. M47 was the Patton 2 with a relatively similar turret shape to that of the M41 Walker Bulldog and the Patton 1 is the M46 which was basically an uparmored and better engine...ed(?) M26 Pershing
I'm just going to like this extra so RAID will give you extra money (hopefully)!
Love these vids. Even if some of them are probably intentional disasters. Lol
this one definetly was
On costal states just build ports, they give the same suply and are cheaper
"No stability"
Wait I've see this one somewhere...
Railways on their own do NOTHING AT ALL for supply, i have seen so many youtubers misunderstand it, its quite baffling to me, the ONLY use for railways is: A connect supply hubs! B dictate how much from your capital supply gets supplied TO the supply hub. thats IT. the supplyhub itself dictates how far supply goes and the only way to control that is the motorization, so if a fully motorized supply hub does not have enough range to supply your frontline, you have to either build a new one thats closer, a PORT if you are in a coastal area OR capture one from the enemy and connect it to your railway system if it is not already.
Hope i could help.
Edit: Okay i just rewatched the part that made me write this and it was the disaster save guy who built railways where he shouldnt have, ill still leave this here for people who dont know.
well, i know this...thats why i only upgrade relevant railroads
That save title sent me lol
in case you haven't noticed, the soviets now have a bunch of oil in the north. just taking Baku will not cripple them anymore
Baku still is the majority of their oil tho, so it should hurt still
With the combat width Changes Infantry is just over run by tanks now . Ave Inf defense is 400-500 may be 250 soft attack (24CW)? - with 60 Org is not good enough to defend any more (With Support actually hurts you now because nerfs other important stats , Even with Supreme Fire Power Doctrine the , The Bonuses to the support still isn't good enough) , 12CW templates are pathetic now. (and that's with doctrine bonus) average tank division 800-900 Breakthrough. And 600 Soft attack (32-45CW)
Concept combat width the should be applied) I have tested this in a sub mob and it works , You just need Piercing support for Infantry to go up against tanks that will have 90- 130 Armor)
ALL iNF 1
Vesicles /Light Tanks 2
MT/ SP-artillery/ Water-Tank 3
HT- 4
Super Heavy - 5
Why should a Medium Tank be the same as a infantry? Paradox ?
Why should a Gun cost 2 Steel and a Fully Fitted Improved Light tank cost 2 steel? Paradox?
Bruh the person that sent this must have done it on purpose C'MON!
The title is quiet accurate actually, its like Turkey's situation nowadays...
3:45 Subtitles: I'm also going to get rid of autism.
A noble goal
Did anyone else get a notification about this being uploaded 2 years after it was?
if you press ~ and then Pg Up it should show previously used commands, i'm pretty sure they used "stability -100"
nope, play turkey and try to stop resistance in kurds area than u will see how stability goes down.
These things stress me out so much
stabilitiy is just like real life
I don't know if you're aware of this already but you should totally have a look at joining the TommyKay tournament, though I do understand you mostly play single player but still I think you'd be able to hold your own and it would be cool to see you in the game.
Yeah I agree! He’d be a great addition!
This game was weird, but what was weirder was the fact the generals were named ????? ????????
OH HEY didnt know hoi4 was taking place in 21st century
18:49 “Manchukuo claims Indochina”
What the hell?
Industy
Lies and slander
literally Turkey IRL rn.
After you saved that you can declare that you are Atatürk II of Turkey!!! 🇹🇷
9:51 thats what she said
sorry had to do it
*looks at Benghazi*
"I think we found the americans"
were you able to learn where was his industry??? :))
Why did Romania send a lend lease giving exactly 0 guns and 0 support equipment at 13:42 ?
Because they are clowns
As someone who doesn't play HoI4 but has watched a lot of these videos: did the original player maybe have a -really- unlucky set of events with the Kurds and fail to manage stability adequately, costing them so much political power and other factors that their industry wound up very anemic? You've mentioned in other videos the importance while playing Turkey of managing Kurdish revolts and mitigating stability hits from the random events.
Again, I lack the expertise to even begin to assess if original player deleted their industry or otherwise did something funky, but this seems like the most plausible explanation for a 0-stability Turkey from other Bittersteel videos.
in 1940 as poland defending sucsesfully against germany i had 100 factories XD AS POLAND
19:34 definitely looks like a bug with you losing 20 stability
I think that was him breaking the Non aggression pact with the soviets by accepting german call to arms, but i might be wrong.
No Stabilty?! NO INDUSTRY!! No Step Back…
Isn't it better to make ports than supply hubs for supply on the coast?
It hurts to watch him build all those uselles railroads
19:30 **H I S T O R I C A L***
The real save was the alliteration in the title
maybe this guy don't know he can build factory by hand :P
LOL at 1:53. Why are all the generals' names just a bunch of question marks?
So I've finally completed france on normal should I play some more or get DLCs and play with those
Ports are the better supply hub
Last time I was this early
I was never early
Hey Bitter, you should reach out to Tommykay for the great game!
Egypts not the middle east? News to the world lol
You lost 20% stability when going at war with the soviets because you had a NAP
8:52 what happened to the general names?
Nice province. I assume you puppeted it?
Instead of building a supply hub you should have build a port. Muc much cheaper.
The guy who played this save is acting very similar to turkish goverment right now he is just building roads instead of factorys
Ye man, my favorite Turkish general, ??????? ???????, but I also love ??????? ??????
No stability and industry? Shit, even I am better than that
