- Now I need to take down everything again and see what happened. My theory is that maybe I left something in the gearbox, but I can't be sure until I see what happened.

Oh I had this similar issue on my 2009 Volvo S40 2.0d D4204T, I had changed clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder. Everything seemed fine but every now and then the clutch pedal would stick to the floor. I thought I hadn't bleed the system properly, so I bleed and it happened again, so I changed the master cylinder and still same issue. But one day I noticed a small drip of brake fluid under the car. And the probably was I had damaged the slave cylinder using a power bleeder. Any way the whole gearbox had to come apart again to change it. But that fixed the problem.
Best of luck!
Thanks for sharing your experience. 👏 Can’t wait to make some test and see what’s happened.
@@slavicshop2398 Stick at it, there were times when all I wanted to do was sell my car and buy something new. It took me about 3 weeks in total as I was working or waiting of parts to come. But in the end I was really happy that I stuck with it. I've never changed a clutch before :) This year I'm trying the timing belt!
@@CH-pv3te yees I have those days too, but I Have invented so much time on it. Timing belt is more easy to do, just be careful block the flywheel and the belt on the right spot , then you will have some hard time stretchig fitting the new belt on, but I have used something not sharp to help the stretching . Good luck
Great content as always. Out of curiosity, how many km does the car have?
