    Hi 👋🏼 thank you for the information. I'm still unclear on the results the veterinarian emailed me. He said in the email his neutrophils were a bit high but no big deal. His results said 82% and it was 10,906. Is that high and a cause for concern?

    I am trying to learn why my beloved 5 y.o. Boxer girl Autumn has high RBC and trace blood in her urine. She was recently diagnosed with KCS and i have had to 2 Veterinarians. The 2nd for a 2nd opinion and complete blood panel.
    However i cannot get answers. I have been spending hrs researching online.
    Autumn is getting Optimmune 2 x day and gel drops several times a day .
    I am very concerned about the high RBCS.
    Can you help?

    • @jesscliffee
      @jesscliffee  3 года назад +5

      Neutrophils are around 6 hours in the spleen and a few days in other tissues. Eosinophils 8 to 12 days, Basophils a few hours to a few days. Lymphocytes a long time months-years (especially in memory cells), sometimes weeks. Monocytes few hours to days.

    Hi,
    You explained very well and I watched it to know that our course of MLT standards are match to western and international standars are not? Alhamdulillah things we learnt are With regards, same terminology and definations taught to us in India. But I gained some extra knowledge about stress hemogram in ur video its really informative for me and to understand my pet CBC report in more better way. And you are right any fresher can have lot of info here to answer an interviewer.
    Thanks &
    Regards

    Awesome video! I wish I knew what is going on with my two cats or how to help them because I've tried just about everything. It started off as diarrhea short lived within 24 hrs both cats had it. One cat with mucus/blood. Now 15 days later for this whole time they're passing very little stool, straining with no production, or passing abnormal balls. One cat with black color, the other one multicolor. I've learned one is losing weight from 9 lbs to 8 lbs and the other one I took to ER but they didn't give a specific diagnosis just said her white count was elevated. They are both very active and playful still. Except one of them vomited white liquid (just once so far). It pains me to not see them have bowel movements or very little.

    • @jesscliffee
      @jesscliffee  3 года назад

      Hi, thanks so much for watching! Hope you got help for your cats, but unfortunately I will not give medical advice on the internet. Hope you can understand that!

      @@jesscliffee I understand, probiotics seemed to help briefly now it's not. This is getting ridiculous. I need an answer. I will be contacting my vet again: if she gives me a 'how about we try this' approach again then I'm taking them into a clinic cheaper than the ER to get tests done. July 18th will mark a whole month and Layla my black n white cat is really petite now she's 3, Harper is 1. These girls shouldn't be having problems like this long. My vet told me don't worry since they're not acting distressed. The point is I don't want them to get to that moment where it becomes urgent like that I need to know now before they become very ill
