Glad to see you're enjoying the Halfling Dragonmark healing rogue. I have a couple (an Assassin and an Acrobat) and have always taken the dragonmark of healing every life on them. So much fun to play! Honestly, the Acrobat tends to edge out my Assassin in enjoyable game play due to the AoE cleaves. Tripping oozes is so satisfying. But, assassin definitely dishes out the damage.
God I love halfling assassin/vistani. By far my favorite in the game and the only thing I even log into anymore. It's so fun and exciting. Really want to see an end game follow up to see how your experience may differ!
You mention in the video that players can only get Fortification and not Sneak Attack Immunity but if I remember correctly the Warforged Improved Fortification Feat does explicitly grant Sneak Attack Immunity as well. Might be an interesting thing to look into, since that might make that feat SLIGHTLY less god-awful (Lol no it won't) Love the videos :D
Not sure if you cover this in the video because it is late and I should be asleep, I had to pause the video for later... :P but assassin's trick is very useful for removing the immunity to sneak attack that occurs when the monster is aware of you. So say you are fighting a monster and it doesn't die from your fistful of sneak attack dice on your two weapon attacks from out of stealth, normally you would enter the grueling death by paper cut mode because your melees don't really carry weight without sneak attack dice. Well trick lets you keep stabbing their kidneys regardless of how much they know it is coming.
Vistani knife fighting style actually attacks slower than the regular TWF style, something you may want to drop when you move in to endgame to max out dps. It’s a fun style to play though when you first try it out.
This sounds like a lot of fun. I tried Assassin Rouge some time ago, but with soloing almost everything it was convenient Otto's have been dropped on sale when I hit level nine 😁 Not my favorite playstyle, but I might give it a try at some point again.
This is the Halfling Assassin build I've been trying to create, so it's nice to know it is viable. My problem now is that you do not cover starting stats and skills, so I am still trying to work that part out. (I'm returning to DDO after ten years, so I'm doing a First Life build.)
Hello, you can find the full build here www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/510555-Trash-Remover-the-end-game-assassin-Vistani-Assassin-Rogue-by-Strimtom?p=6272792#post6272792
@@Strimtom That makes life so much easier. However, the posted build is missing Skills (core and/or optional), so you might want to add those. DDO Skills work differently than their PnP counterparts.

I really want to get into DDO doing stuff like this but it's hard as a new player. Guess I'll play it again sometime soon and see what happens.

You are riding a horse in red willows!
Yeah I though it was fun

@@khalaq2 basic rogue skills bro. open lock, disable device, sneak , move silently, UMD, jump, swim if you wanna swim fast. really it.
Double Daggers? Wow, I've been away for a while. They never use to be useful.
I just want to know what cosmetic armor you have on in this video!?
It's the festival robe you can get it in the hall of heroes
It's the festivault coat which is only available from the glamordust vendor in the hall of heroes
Self healing is great unless everybody wants to play reaper difficulty. So i dropped them on epic level and kept the cocon only
Personally I think single weapon fighting is better for a rogue.
Also your cat is very cute:> just saying.
