I remember in maplestory v0.20 watching people drop bags of mesos on the ground and use meso explosion. It did so much damage.
True OG will remember chief bandits mess exploding Zakum or selling big foot using this method

I noticed that while editing and I left it in there to spite myself
@@coppersan smkescreen has so many bugs. The crit dmg bug has been there for over 5 years now lol
@@coppersan yeah i thought that to myself, still was very funny
@@FF-ie6sd the crit damage bug is not longer present. It does give +20% crit damage now (keep in mind you wont see it in your stat window because it doesn't increase your crit damage, it increases the crit damage you deal).
Slight correction, actually just reduces %hp attacks by 10%. So if you were to get hit by a 100% hp damage ability, let's say hellux hand smush, you'd take 90% hp damage instead.
as a Shadower main seeing this brings a smile to my face
Meso explosion and flip of the coin. Use the first then spam the second. Each hit from meso explosion counts as a single hit meaning you can quickly stack flip of the coin. Meso explosion also fully stacks your kill count meaning max buff for shadower instinct and max damage with assassinate via spell threading.

damn! flash jump in first job! makes me so sad! took me YEARS! to get to lvl 74 to unlock somewhat potential flash jump on my hermit in the end of 2007. and no more x6 lines for savage blow for bandits. :(
I don't even know what's going on when I watch the new maple story videos. The screen just fills with numbers, everything dies and new monsters appear before the dead ones completely disappear. And then there's bosses melting in minutes. Soloing a boss used to be an achievement. People made music videos of a solo boss kill.

@@PartyQuest I remember when hitting 1k dmg per skill was a milestone. And maxing out the dmg counter with assasinate. Then I see this video with the 6-10 digit dmg with the funny symbol infront of some numbers and I'm like o.O. I want to try the game again, pick up where I left off. But there's nothing to pick up. It's not the same game. It's like visiting a restaurant you used to love and find out that the owner changed and everything changed.

Don't bind flip of the coin in a macro. It's going to eat other inputs and make some attacks delayed, or not even come out at all since pressing the macro makes all skills activate at once. Youll be trying to use coin before you've actually hit them to get the crit.
2nd job on is pretty fun, especially a strong meso explosion! But Boomerang Stab has a special place in my heart

@@tgnuma2 Haha, I honestly can't remember old Boomerang Stab, I think I made my first Shadower in 2010, and I remember Band of Thieves, and dropping meso bags for ME, but I don't remember old Boomerang Stab
It's crazy to see the mush mom being killed at level 11.... What has maple story become.
His double stab damage at level 24 was only achievable at around 60+. Sad times.

Hey copper, I was wondering if you had a level guide video on what to do on maplestory playing with friends? My friends and I returned to maplestory after 8+ years and it’s so different. We don’t know where to start. We were used to doing kerning, ludi, orbis pqs, doing zak and other bosses back in the day, now it feels so different. I really liked the community vibe of maple and being able to play with friends so playing alone can be quite boring. Do you have any videos of recommendations or pointers?

This is my main and leveling is pain from how straight boomerang stab is does get a lot better after 5th job and after a crap ton of funding though
I originally intended to main a Shadower when I first started playing again, but I guess I decided on maining a dual blade at some point.
I don't quite remember why, come to think of it, but I feel like it's too late now to switch because I gave all the compensation to my dual blade already.
You can job swap from night lord to shadower to dual blade lmao. They’re all adventurer thief classes you don’t need to make a new character just talk to 4th job instructor in leafre.
hi everyone, for the current maple, is there a point with levelling with friends?
I am not 100% sure but i think there are some areas where players in a party gain increased exp, there are also of course party quests, but except for that I don't really see a point for Leveling with friends, bossing is a different deal though
How do you usually gear characters in reboot up to 200 since trading is not allowed?
Just finding everything from monster haha. It's painful something
hi copper, I am playing GMS Adele. my state range is now around 300k, Can you make a video guide the path to reach solo CRA range. which set to use step by step, either paid or unfunned. I lost the way to go next :D

Higher exp, but enemies have more hp. Its more personal progression, you can not trade with other players. Its more f2p for endgame.

How long do these videos take you to make?
4:18 Advanced Dark Sight is absolutely awful. I hope they either make it not automatically have a skill point, be toggleable, or outright remove it. Whenever I'm mobbing and want to pick up a Use item, I try to use another item in my inventory and can't because "Oh, I'm randomly in Dark Sight AGAIN." It is infuriating to me. If I want to enter Dark Sight, I can trigger it **myself**.

I have a 1st job thief that I made so long ago, that it has some AP used on dex
AP reset scrolls are pretty easy to come by now if you have anything on it you don't want to lose. If you don't have anything on the character its also not very hard to level a new one nowadays
How do you get the 10 Lines boomeranbg ? Anyone ? I only have 4 lines level 150 ...

Do you play reboot on a European or American server..where is it better..I live in Europe but I made a mistake 12 years ago and I still play on a global server..I play in BERA ... just keep it up..your positive energy and advice help a lot for an old player even after years

You can’t macro boomerang and ME together. But ME has little to no activation time so it’s easy enough to just press boomerang and ME together

How long does it usually take you to level 1-200?
On the regular server it takes about 9 hours. On Reboot about 15 hours to 24 hours. But I ain't rushing.
