What’s the point of doing this ??? New to oilfield and we did this several times. No floorhands knew either😆 they just listened to the driller and we went with it
this is wear bushing it sit inside the casing head to protect of damage while drilling operation and while pulling out or run in the hole , we retrive wear pushing to do BOP test pressure

Working without safety gloves while working on the derrick floor! Not setting a good example!
