it's always difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation my wife for 12 years left me, i couldn't just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual adviser who helped me bring her back.

I married and reproduced with a narcissist, so I was a married single parent... and once his first illegitimate child was discovered I went to the Law Library in Gwinnett county Georgia and did the paperwork for my own divorce. I had two toddlers with me and got it done in 4 hours. Currently in waiting for a worthy King, no rush.🫶🏾✨
Please remember ladies these pictures are the good times and happy memories. What they don’t show is the hard work, patience, loyalty, humility, and accountability to each other. When times were tough, they didn’t seek greener grass elsewhere, but chose to commit to one another. This is the result of hard work and not just “made for each other”.
I find the good relationships actually don't take much work. If they do, you're probably not with the right person. It should be natural and effortless.
To love is natural and the need to give while being infatuated with the other person should be effortless. But non of us are perfect, we make mistakes, we lose our temper and disappoint the ones we love. My point being that the mindset on both sides need to be based on the ability to grow with each other. Be quick to love and easy to forgive - which can require a lot of patience and willingness to work towards each other’s needs. To say loving the right person should be effortless is very unrealistic and enforces and one sided mindset that our partners should meet our expectations and not deviate from our ideal picture of them - this leaves us with little wiggle room to truly empathize with them and their difficulties. The way people see love theses days are from a very self centered mindset and not from an empathetic point of view. If both partners are willing to work towards one another, and not themselves, that’s only when loving someone becomes a natural sensation.

Nothing in life is natural and effortless forever. Everything takes work to maintain over time, especially long term relationships. Perhaps in relationships where the match isn't as good, but those aren't generally worth the time and effort in my experience.
