I was just thinking the same thing. Looks like it could "pop a wheelie" any second. If I were the new owner I think I'd weld a few mounts to be able to add some weights to the front end if needed. Last thing I'd want is to loose steering. LOL. Fantastic wrecker guys!!
Jepp, needs some weight on the front bumper! You guys have done a good job building this beast. And it even has the World's Loudest Backup Beeper™️! 😁😁😁
I’m pretty sure that it could move railroad box cars that is a very well built wrecker lots of power in the boom for lifting most anything that would need to be picked up and put out of the way 👍😎🇺🇸NY
I'm sure Clint is well aware that he wasn't lifting the rig in the ideal area, he lifted from the clevises on the frame rail which requires a lot more lift on the stinger/boom to get the truck off the ground which in turn changes the load dynamics on the tow rig, higher boom angles = more load stresses, had he lifted the truck from the axle the boom would have been much lower and less stress added, he's just moving it around the yard and by lifting from the frame rail he didn't have to lay in the gravel to hitch it and I don't blame him one bit 👍 Clint knows exactly what he's doing
It's hard to describe when you try to take it all in. Clean, Neat & Tidy.....no sign of cobbled modifications / very professionally done. The HET's current look is as though it was always meant to be, as in factory engineered design and purpose built for rugged off road use. Clint got around to building finishing the rig like it should have been in the first place. I sure hope he keeps it.
Just checking Dirt Perfect .... now lets see whats happening over at C&C ,,, You guys Rock!! Can't get enough!! lol ,,Cheers!;-)!! Oh ,,She's a Beauty! nice done!
Tow Truck looking good, I'm a little worried that the tow truck rear suspension needs some help. I'm ignorant of the weights of the vehicles, but it looks as the tow truck needs more support, considering the rear of the vehicle being towed I would think doesn't weight enough to make the back of the tow truck squat like it did. Maybe I'm all wrong, but I don't think so. I remember watching the build on the tow truck, and the "air suspension," either it's not working correctly, or needs help. Thanks for sharing. Great content.
I wonder if there would be a market for a rollback version of this. I used to drive for a trash company in Indy and it would be the go to for over loaded, muddy construction site, etc. box's.
Just watched this again and not sure if is me but the frontend looks a tad light with that load on, front tires were just touching the gravel making the rear steer axle doing the steering. I may be totally wrong though.
You don't resolve it, it is a wrecker towing another truck. That is where the stress points are in the tow bar when it swings or turns and the truck being towed with all the rest of the weight on the front axle. If you didn't get those stress sounds look for something wrong.
Question, is this now a used recovery vehicle and the price dropped or a proven recovery vehicle and the price is increased, you know, just asking!!!🙄😏😉😊🤣 all kidding aside, it looks to work really sweet, or “Super Sweet” as some say. Thanks for the tag along video sir.
Was wondering since the driveline is as heavy duty as it is, have you tried changing the exhaust out for larger? Then giving it a better fresh air system that doesn't use the high density filter media that's for sure choking the intake air down considerably. Then tweaking the fuel up couple notches, and I don't mean to where it's blowing black smoke, because that's just wasted energy and power that is better used completely burned in combustion chambers. From everything I understand about the military specs, and couple of the line mechanics that worked on them and other vehicles. There's a lotta power untapped waiting for someone to cleanup the package. Both increasing the full potential of the engine, and fuel economy both with some minor changes that aren't all that hard to do. Not saying give it a moon tune to just blow it apart, but letting it do everything that it's capable of doing as it was designed to do. As long as it all is with the wrecker connected, wouldn't it be to your advantage to have someone actually steering the towed vehicle when backing up into the shop, are in any confined conditions.
Have you come across any of the army trucks that are multi-fuel? Are they in reasonably good condition to be bought or are they all just junk, & would the multi-fuel engines work in anything else other than an army truck?
That wrecker is coming in handy whilst it is on the yard. Skilled manoeuvring.
Love the fact that these machines are all business. No fancy industrial design BS!
What a beast. Definitely my favorite wrecker build.
Looks like you need to add some ballast to the front end of the wrecker it looks a bit lite

That wrecker is a BEAST. If I had a heavy recovery business that would be in my garage now.
fun fact despite the color difference both trucks are the same model and mark seeing your wrecker doing this job is remarkable
That’s a hell of a machine Wow regards Andy from Australia 1:28
That is one amazing tow truck!
Thank you for sharing! 😊
The wreckers front end seemed to be floating a bit under the load...🤔
That wrecker is just the ticket for those big trucks. Be careful if you start using it to much it will be hard to let go. Enjoy!!
Clint, how about adding the wrecker to Your fleet… a potential asset if ever I saw one… just a thought.
Jepp, needs some weight on the front bumper! You guys have done a good job building this beast. And it even has the World's Loudest Backup Beeper™️! 😁😁😁
Sweet !!! Watching the bids on the 450c has been very entertaining to say the least. Thanks John
The mega wrecker in action! Awesome video Clint! Take care and I’ll see you down the road…

You got it
That is one bad-ass wrecker, and it looks great too. nice work.
454 and smaller tires and a reasonable lift kit and a flat bed with the new cab. A local trailer towing and work truck.
That is one Bad Ass wrecker!
And it didn't even break a sweat doing it!
Great job great video thanks Clint and the guys
Nice demo to let everybody considering expanding their heavy recovery fleet to add a monster at about half the price .
Mason obeying Boss and not complaining.
Humble and dutyful,a rarerity amongst younger folk these days.
And the fun begins 😊
takes me back 45 years when I used to do heavy recovery.😃
Good Job BUB!

That must be the coolest combination ever!😎

Casey LaDelle has a big rollback that he uses out in Idaho. Problem is going to be vertical clearances.
Casey Ladelle is in Central Oregon...
The best thing you can do with that Detroit, is shut it off! lol
Yep those are some big girls but I llikes em BIG!!!😉😍
Sure saves pushing around with the forklift bro. Safe travels. Ken.
Just watched this again and not sure if is me but the frontend looks a tad light with that load on, front tires were just touching the gravel making the rear steer axle doing the steering. I may be totally wrong though.
I love your show I watch them all
Looks like a little weight on the front of the wrecker might be needed. Other than that it’s awesome
One good looking rig! Love the paint job!
Amazing trucks!
Look forward to seeing Sausage Fingers find out what is wrong with this one (under EXPERT supervision - that is.....)
Give boy TONKA TOY, yeaaa
Jerr-Dan should be sponsoring you guys. I bet you've sold a LOT of lifts for them...
she was a bit weighty !!!! that ol HET lol. Good test for the wrecker :)
Short and sweet
Boyz never grow up.... our toyz only gets BIGGER!! 😁
Fantastic guys thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Enjoy this video Clint .
Impressive driving of an impressive machine.
Looked like they were ... well ... how long before we can expect a new litter of bouncing baby HETs?
front end of the wrecker looked a little light with that load.
That backup beepr sounds JUST like my alarm clock...hilarity ensues!
That's a shop truck !
🇦🇺another truck fixed
Almost looks like some weight needs to be added to the front of the wrecker. Front tires seem like they are floating more than they should be.
How much was the tow bill? Asking for a friend 😂
Lol
Do you price it by the pound? The minute? Or the foot...?😅
Looks like it could use heavier rear suspension
It was made to haul 65 ton Abrams tanks. Just put a little more air into the rear bags.
Damn light in the front. Any idea what the pin weight was? Wouldn't think it would be anything too bad... just a lot of leverage.
Get the word out (some how) to other UTube channels to advertise this beast and get it off the books and make the Controller happy, happy, happy 🤗😉👍🇺🇸
Very nice- Does that last axle need higher spring rates? Looks a little squatty back there.
Pump in a little more air.
Oshkosh het m1070 travelled to dubai
🎉🎉
a truck like that would good with a rotater on it as well
👍
Nice workout for the Wrecker! Witch truck was the stress noise coming from, and how can you resolve it? Keep up the good work guy's

See what happens when Clint and Kevin get bored 😂😂😂😂😂
Hey Clint, put a little weight in the front of the wrecker...she's dancing 😅

Lol
Bel engin sacré puissance Merci pour cette vidéo -- Alain
I thought you sold that tow truck? Very cool machinery 😎
Wrong end😂 lets see the heavy end.
My f150 can do that.😆
Gawrsh, it works swell!

She looks a little light in the front end 🤔
She’s squatting in the rear end. Air it up!
Doesn’t look like there’s much weight on the steering axle when that dead truck isa in the air!!
Have you come across any of the army trucks that are multi-fuel? Are they in reasonably good condition to be bought or are they all just junk, & would the multi-fuel engines work in anything else other than an army truck?
hi Clint was that front end floating a little bit?
Maybe 😁
Are you folks going to Louisville for the Utility expo?
Yep
Its a beast!! Lol
👌🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Are u just after investing in a new wrecker for the business. Did u bring this up to the financial controller. 😂😂
Lol
Let’s hope it’s sells to someone
i wanna know what kind of outfit would be in the market for one of those. loggers, maybe? regardless, its a bad you know what
I'm thinking railroad derailments.
Sweeeet truck
I dont know Clint looks pretty useful around the yard.
Looks way too light in the front. Replace fornt bumper with a couple of tons counterweight.
Never going make $$$ by charging by the mile for towing at that rate......lol
Your play toy now Clint?
Sorry, but the wrecker requires weight to be placed at the front.
Yep
Just moving on-site
💪💪💪🏁🏁🏁🌟🌟🌟
Not being a smart ass if you goto ( Ron Pratt ) towing chanel you can see a safer way to hook to another truck with the under reach.
I like your content but the opening is BOOOOORRRING! HOONISH & INMATURE!!!
👍
