I'm still happy with my 2020 Forester Limited. It has every option except the extra trim and passenger side power seats of the touring model. I very much prefer the styling over the 2025. Edited: 10/15/24... Perhaps I spoke too soon. I had to drop by my dealership for a few mins. I was in the show room and saw a blue 2025 Forester Sport with bronze wheels. My heart did skip a few beats. It was beautiful! New car fever did hit me for a brief time. Subaru did a great job. The interior looked cleaner and upgraded.
I love my 2018 Forester Limited. No major issues for 50,000 miles so far. I don't really care for the new design, for me it looks like it has a bit of Toyota design influence since it is a major partner with Toyota. If I were to get the new style, I would probably get the Hybrid version. I'll have to wait and see. Not in any hurry to give up my current one.
@@sirraymondluxuryyacht8131 remember when the current 5th generation came out 6 years ago? It could have been much better, but it lack a hot trim that made it's predecessors great and unique, such a big disappointment
Subaru AWD is great. Subaru warranty department...not so much. They will find any excuse to deny warranty coverage. Subaru build quality... terrible. Drive any Subaru in the rust belt and compare it to other vehicles with the same mileage and the Subaru will have significantly more rust on the suspension and drivetrain bits. Any tech who has done a ball joint knows exactly what I'm talking about.
As far as warranty goes, you just described every dealership from ever car brand possible world wide. They all try to deny or mitigate warranty claims. But generally Subaru corp does a good job of fixing things if you ever have issues. Plenty of stories where they reimburse people for repair costs years after they do recalls etc. Build quality is pretty solid actually. 3rd place as far as Japanese brands go. Definitely superior to any US, Korean, or European car out there. I mean even Hondas have had rust issues, Toyota having new engine issues etc…but even then they are worlds ahead of US or Euro auto makers.
I’ve had Acura, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Mazda & 9 Subarus over the years. Subaru is more reliable than Honda now. Look up issue with Hondas 1.5 Turbo & Cylinder deactivation on their 3.5 v6. We’ve had zero issues with ourSubarus, plus they have the best awd, low center of gravity due to boxer engine. These will last 300k miles with maintenance.

WILDERNESS is the right choice. 🗿
No wilderness for 2025 ..
It's not
@@ernesthemingway2013 if there would be another WILDERNESS trim, it must be like this:
-2.5L e-Boxer PHEV with 300 HP total output,

I loved the sport for everything but the seats. They looked like cheap covers and will melt your skin in the summer heat.
You mean like leather seats do?
Please bring the XT back, even if it's a Hybrid, like this:
-2.5L E-Boxer PHEV with total output........
290 HP @ 380 Nm
No
@sirraymondluxuryyacht8131 then they better prepare to be left behind again in the competition if they didn't improve it,

What vehicles do you recommend?
Perhaps it's your dealer. I've never had a problem with anything from Subaru or my dealer.

Honda builds better vehicles..
