Here's a free Head Prestige Tour tip; have it strung with a multi at 20 kgs (44 lbs). This will add some more power (trampoline effect + lower tension) AND open up that sweet spot, making it bigger and thereby the racquet more forgiving. While maintaining beautiful control at the same time. Mine are strung with Head Velocity MLT 1.30 and 1.25 black at 20 kgs. Killer combo!
Great video, but I would like to know a little more about the Percept 97D, wouldn't it be better than the traditional and H version for precision and control?
I have the 97D and have demoed the 97H and 97. It is indeed just a bit more precise, though it's not a huge change. To me, the best thing is just that it has the most reasonable specs for a players' frame. Also thought the regular 97 was good but it needed customization to get enough stability and I don't like messing with my specs too much. 97H was unwieldy. Low power for all the work you have to put in and simply not that big of a reward for me.
@@Jingoa I asked this question because I play with the Vcore 95 2023, and I just purchased the perspective 97D to test, because as I have a flat style beat, I thought it could benefit me more. I'm thinking about using the same rope that I used on the Vcore, head lynx tour with 49 pounds, would that be a good option?
perhaps because of what strings it had or perhaps because of the thickness of the beam, i found the RF97 not that hard to use (coming from a weighted up prince graphite) but i found the vcore 97 warwrinka hard to use. i was surprised how little power that racquet had despite its weight
Just got myself a 97 v13 last week and so far I'm finding controlling it a bit of a challenge. Slice backhands sailed on me which I am not used to. Bit of a learning curve, this one. But I like a challenge! It'll get there!
@@WaltKurtz68 Be carefull not to use a stiff string at a high tension with this frame. I have tried the 97 but hate it, got back to my first love after chronic wrist injuries.
@@HonkyMonky For some reason it arrived strung (which I had not ordered). And it's strung pretty tight, but luckily the string is a multifilament (Wilson Sensation). We'll see how it fares. Next string is going to be my usual, Head Velocity MLT @ 20 - 22 kgs.
Great video!
How's the vcore 95 2023 in terms of precision?
Ever test Prince Phantoms? So enjoy the discontinued 93p but even the 100 18x20 goes where I aim.

Precision video but no Blade 18x20 or when it comes to Percept should have been the 97D surely?
Yes I'm also flabbergasted that no mention of the 97D was made.

Andy Murray? Hasn't he switched to an Ezone?
Yes, but he used a PT57A2 (Pro Tour 630 pro stock with a 16x19 drill pattern) with a radical paintjob before his recent switch
He hopefully retires soon

Smoky member's club description is spot on 😂
Pro Staff 97 is not used by Roger
Binaries
Honestly PS97 is the easiest to use out of all of those rackets for me
3:20 - dawg
the blade 18x20 should definitely made this very subjectively personal opinion list...
Vcore 95?
Vcore 95 2023?
Six one 95 v14 is much better than the 97...
Still playing with the Wilson Pro Staff RF 97 Autograph V13 , unmatched feeling and control
