The Borden situation has me a bit confused. I heard an announcement that Borden was stepping away from driving to focus on his business. It was mentioned when he was ready they'd have a seat for him. Now it's announced he's done and out. Borden posted that he was working on a new team for himself, too.
The day my grandson graduated high school he became 49% owner in the business. It sure feels great to be the guy that makes the decisions but there is nothing stopping anyone else from doing the same that Joe and I do (and many other business owners). It's as easy as 1.. 2... oh wait, it's not that easy. Joe and I (and many other business owners) have put in lots of blood, sweat and tears to be able to take care of our families. So in short, yeah, it is funny.. eh... we put in the work to do what we all want with our businesses. It's a lot of work but if you start on your business today, the sooner it can happen for you too! Dang, you just made me take up for Joe and I'm not even a fan of his, at all!
@@lilolme69 Someday start my own business? Nope, I'm retired from the family business for quite a spell already. My grandson will hopefully someday be the owner, but he'll earn it first just like my son had to do, and just like I had to do. I never gave him anything he didn't earn, and I never changed my rules just to suit his whims. So, in short, I wasn't taking up against Joe, just making an obvious observation. Sorry you missed it, but hey, someday you'll get it. And by the way, I always liked Joe and still do!!!
well hope to maybe see chris bell come to one of the events at eldora for kings royal weekend, hear soo much about his dirt days but never saw him race in person,
I got to see him race Larson twice WOo memorial day race at the Burg. Second time they went into three last lap side by side Bell ended up on his roof.
Justin - was looking back at the rule changes for WOO sprints back in January. What ever became of the wicker bill change? Is that permanent for now? Another change coming before the start of 2025 season? Thanks!!
If they're racing super late models, it's not going to affect the Grove - two different types of fans and the Grove is mainly done with Late models after the first month of the season (unless a major show is in the area - ie. WoO).
@ my only worry would be if it becomes every week (& even at that, it shouldn’t matter). If it’s not every week, then it won’t really matter. No different than teams going elsewhere throughout the season (ie. Dietrich, Macri, etc.). It gives fans another place to watch (as long as they go). Splitting cars/fields, eh. I’m not a huge fan of that concept, but it can be done(Lincoln/Port do it weekly), just at what cost - the purse is going to have to be better than whatever the Grove is racing for, etc.
You wouldn’t do it for your grandson? Gibbs can do whatever the hell he wants, he’s earned it. Gets old people hating on other people just because they’re in a diff tax bracket.
@Marko137-em8nx Who says the teams are getting 50% of TV revenue? If that was the case I seriously doubt there would be an antitrust case pending. The top NASCAR teams are losing eight figures annually.
I’d love to see Bell back in a dirt car. It only sharpens skills. Plus I need a new batch of Bell sprint car shirts

So basically, if the grandson wants to, grandpa has to let the others do it too.
Funny how that works eh?

From the sounds of it Ty has been racing dirt since June. Hmmm wtf? We love seeing Bell on dirt.
Look for Ty at the Shoot Out

I did. I was on the infield at the chilibowl when he got Larson on the last lap. It was so crazy.

Hoping new crew chief gets Lucas back up front.
Before even watching the video, I already know we can all thank Ty Gibbs for CBell being allowed back on dirt.
Well, I guess that Ty has a lot of stroke with his grandpa. Bell back in a dirt car would be a good thing. Great show
Here comes 37K. Congrats

Yes, they did eventually make it permanent. I don't know right now of any changes for 2025, unlike what we will see with High Limit.

Yeah, was more talking about that handful of sprint car shows, including the Friday night opener.

BKR still has sprint cars. They have Jaden Bowling driving it with a 305.
If that's true, Bell doesn't know about it. He told Turford Brian doesn't have a sprint car operation anymore.
Id Rather watch Selinsgrove then the grove just saying
Bell needs to be in a midget to keep Larson on his game. Turkey night and Chili bowl.
Isn't Larson going to be in Australia when the Chili Bowl is going on?
Larson does stuff all Midget racing. Most people would rather see Bell in a Sprint car.
Hms fanboys can't stop hating gibbs out of jealousy. Grow up
Why nothing about the Blue gray 100
Because I talked about it yesterday.
Bluesky. 😂😂😂
You were talking about Selinsgrove running against Williams Grove, my understanding is that Selinsgrove is running 360s
Jeremy's story says 410s.
Blue Sky 😅😅😅😅
Gibbs is the biggest hypocrit in racing. His grandson is the reason for the shift and I don't expect to see Bell anywhere exciting like Eldora.
Eh, who cares about the reason…

Money in involved on the NASCAR side? All the NASCAR teams are losing money hand over fist regardless of results.
Teams getting 50% next year from TV and big time drivers might get 43million next year.

@doylebbq4329 he did nothing wrong but hit the wall. Watch it again from indise the car he was trying to get off the wall.
