R.I.P Terry, thanks for the music, thanks for being an inspiration to all with struggling mental health. Sleep well
English lad, 15 in 1981 , immersed in the SKA scene, GT an anthem for me. So much pleasure to see just how awesome the gang sounds almost 30 years later. Class!
I’ll see you in heaven Terry, love you brother , my fav band of all time .
So glad this show was posted. Brings back memories, first and last time I saw Terry Hall. Grateful to have seen him.
Unfortunately I 've never seen him.... great artist! Sad he passed away...
Love their music! I have never had the chance to see them live. Great that they are still performing and sound great 👍
This is awesome man!! Thanks much for uploading, this is precious. Awesome night!
Love it! Thanks for posting.
best concert ever!
Outstanding ☝️🙂
Thank you very much for posting this. Very nice and steady shot video. Audio quality is superb as well. BTW: The first encore song is "Breaking Point" in case you want to amend the list of songs in your description.
it's actually a Skatalites cover. i didn't know the song title and when i found the song i forgot to update the video. I kind of wish it was breaking Point though because that song is awesome.
Anything Terry Hall does … I’M THERE.
Genius!!!
My favourite band ...loved everything they've ever done ...Obviously been various band members over the years..but nevertheless keep the Specials name up there .
Any chance of a Mp3 download link please?
the mickey mouse bunch :D
I love the end how he says “Can we have it a little less Greatful Dead”? Orange County sucks balls! The crowds are always dead
Are you serious? I was there and it was a blast!! We're not in our teens any longer, just a classy group of people singing along and dancing. Oh and BTW he was being facetious, if you know what that means. It was a freakin slow song. Peace ✌🏼
best band ever worst backdrop ever
You referring to the way it looks or the messages on the signs? Specials have always been political...I agree best band ever
when does a band stop really being the band from so many desertions of members? Great drummer passed (miss his rim shot sound, used to ID The Specials); guitar player; the motivating front singer dancing all over the stage; even the keyboardist from earlier reunion set up is gone. A good band but...three Specials?
If Neville Staple is no longer performing, not much you can do.Even worse having Ranking Roger pass away. The Specials & The Beat & Special Beat with both Neville Staple & Ranking Roger out front fortunately toured Australia.
The Ship of Theseus intelectual experiment is a good one to apply here. I think that as long as a single plank from the original boat remains, it’s still The Ship of Theseus…now if any of the original members who have left form their own band and call it The Specials, legal issues not withstanding, there would be two bands called The Specials.
@@patrickhoulihan7210 A week ago I saw Neville and his talented band do songs from the Specials and Fun Boy Three and a few of his new ones. He's just celebrated his 68th birthday so he doesn't bounce around the stage any more. He sings all/shares the Terry parts as well as his characteristic toasting, apart from Christine Staple doing the female vocals in 'Really Saying Something'. Roddy Radiation and his band are the support on the tour but we had a Ska covers band called Skastuds instead. We had a fabulous time and danced for hours. Can't wait to see them again at Let's Rock in Shrewsbury UK in July.
