To some extent I understand why the word "blind" could be used in a rude context. But that's really only in a public setting, you know those phrases people say. "Are you fucking blind"?! ect. Are pretty rude to hear. But in the context of "blind playthrough" it's pretty dumb to ban that. Context matters
I will have you know that blindness is on a spectrum, and i find it very offensive that you would insinuate that blind people are not watching twitch, it is people like you who perpetuate baseless stereotypes that make differently abled people feel unwelcome online
wow, didn't knew about this. Kinda unnecessary imo. Buuuut the tag "First Playthrough" exist I believe, so in the end nothing should be lost. Kinda sucks cuz I usually stream "blind" playthroughs, and here I was wondering why I couldn't find the tag anymore, now I know why. Thx for the heads up bud.
5:20 I can totally seeing Dark Seethor being used as a Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde type of scenario. In my opinion I honestly thought it was satire when I first heard of it. If they want to help blind people with their site than by all means go for it. But removing a tag is ridiculous. Couldn't have said it any better Seethor :D
What do you call a "blindfold challenge?" This reminds me of the George Carlin but talking about feminism trying to remain manhole covers to personhole.
Yeah, its overly ridiculous. I understand they have good intentions doing it, but cmon. I messaged someone in my family who is blind to get their input. I should get a funny response lol

The alternative is to use the "First Playthrough" tag in combination with "No Spoilers", according to Aureylian. I see no issue with this.
That really sucks :(
They're pulling a Tumblr
True lol

how offended is the world coming too? Everyone gets offended over the most little of things...to the point that humanity is going backwards

It's a shitty corporate attempt to garner social points for when they fuck up on something else.
