The white noodles in Indonesia called "Bihun" or glass noodle
The Bakso or meatball is made from minced beef, minced garlic & a little bit flour to harden the ball. But just a little bit so the original flavour of beef still tasty.
For the sauce, the black one is sweet soy sauce made from brown sugar & soy bean
The red one, there is two type... tomato (ketchup) or spicy one (sambal)
Usually in Indonesia there is also the real "Sambal" made from very spicy minced chilli pepper.
I always mix them all lol... but you can add sauce, sweet soy sauce & sambal or without it, depends on each taste 🙂
For Pempek the dough made from Tapioca flour, fish, salt & a bit of minced garlic, make it like a bread dough then you put an egg inside then boiled it, if you want a crispy one after you boil it, you fried it.
For the sauce its made from brown sugar, salt, water, vinegar (in Indonesia if there is no vinegar we can use Tamarind, a sour fruit for candy or food). Then for refreshment we add chopped cucumber on the sauce 🙂, if you want spicy taste then add minced chilli pepper
