I don't think "anyone can rap good lyrics". The thing is, Jimin's lyrics are kinda...shallow? I think that's what a lot of people are criticising her for(at least for me). Here's people's problem, her lyrics contradict her performances, actions, and other lyrics. She says she wants to break the idol stereotype but she gives this idol performance, and she goes back and talks about being a top model.... why not top rapper. Lyrics, Stage Presence/Performance, Energy, Sound, Freshness,Confidence and Character are some major elements to being a winner. While some may think she may arguably lacks in "sound"(voice sound is why I'm assuming the haters), she makes up for in almost every other category and kills it. Which is why I think Jimin and Cheetah are the strongest up to this point.

Jolly V is a good example her lyrics are fantastic and she is a good writer, but when she preforms on stage her presence gets lost and thyfor she loses alot of the connection to where only a few people can actualy feel her..

I don't think "anyone can rap good lyrics". The thing is, Jimin's lyrics are kinda...shallow? I think that's what a lot of people are criticising her for(at least for me). The theme was "The Real Me" but her rap was all about how attractive she was, how girls' boyfriends want her and stuff. I did like the performance but I wouldn't call her rap meaningful.

Here's people's problem, her lyrics contradict her performances, actions, and other lyrics. She says she wants to break the idol stereotype but she gives this idol performance, and she goes back and talks about being a top model.... why not top rapper. You can't have it both ways and that's where people get mad. I always thought she was the most lethal in the show because she's an idol... she can play the part well and she can write.... BUT you can't say one thing, do another, and say something else; and not have people continue to question you.
That and the blatantly obvious idol bias on this program. Why would't people be mad. From San E's open outburst (episode six after her performance), any live based fan voting will go in her favor whether she does well or not because he's JiMin from AOA.
That's where the annoyance comes from. She's a great performer, but her lyrics are hypocritical and contradictory to how she attempts to come across as.

Jimin totally killed it. I don't even care about how she is acting like an "idol rapper" or how people are calling her a hypocrite. Lyrics, Stage Presence/Performance, Energy, Sound, Freshness,Confidence and Character are some major elements to being a winner. While some may think she may arguably lacks in "sound"(voice sound is why I'm assuming the haters), she makes up for in almost every other category and kills it. Which is why I think Jimin and Cheetah are the strongest up to this point.

so people complain about her having backup dancers and iron completly forgetting the other constenstants had the SAME options to do so themselves. this is a battle people, the point here was to win the crowed votes and so she used what she had to do so. this isnt about her being an idol or them being "real rappers". there is more to rapping then just writing witty lyrics its about PRESCENCE. you cant succeed in any form of the rap indestry with just good lyrics alone. you need to be able to win a crowd and put on a show. its like dancing, any can dance but a very small view can actualy project presence into their dancing. thats where we get emotion or excitment. its not enough to just see them dancing you have to be able to feel them too. the other contestants did have meaningful lyrics but you couldnt actualy feel them there. Jolly V is a good example her lyrics are fantastic and she is a good writer, but when she preforms on stage her presence gets lost and thyfor she loses alot of the connection to where only a few people can actualy feel her..

Most fans of Cheetah and Jessi commenting here or on other videos after listening to AOA say I like Jimin as an idol but not a rapper, which makes absolutely no sense. tbh this is a good song, but Jimin treated it like something you would have on a music show not a 'rap' competition. she doesn't want to be seen as a idol rapper, but then again she always most of the time references to AOA, and the use of Iron and the backup dancers show that she needed that added boots to win the public over. being an international fan, i do like the song and probably will buy it if it gets released, but i don't think she deserves to win the competition, Jessie or Cheetah have so much raw talent either one of then deserve to be in the winning spot bc they seem to know what real rap & hip hop is. Bobby from SMTM proved me that some idols can actually compete against top/real hiphop rappers. His performance against Vasco (who was the favorite to win it all) was absolutely amazing and his victory was well deserved.... Jimin on the other hand... NOT A CHANCE.....so disappointed smh 유치하다..
