    Can't wait to discover the full video which compare Omni One and the Kat Walk C 2😃 I can't believe no one did it yet !!

    • @jBahrVR
      @jBahrVR  2 дня назад

      I will be eventually comparing - I mostly just want to have enough time with the Omni-one to make it a fair comparison, as I have used the KatVR treadmills for YEARS already.

    What’s just as important as the treadmill quality is the game library… if they stay exclusive

    • @jBahrVR
      @jBahrVR  3 месяца назад +1

      Agreed! It does sound like they are really working to keep building the library. Even mentioned talking with titles that I think you'd be excited about 😉

      @@OlenVR not sure I can say exactly yet. But one good thing to know is that if a game is on the Pico store, then it's MUCH more likely to come to the O1.

    Hey jBahr. I was the guy a while ago in one of your lives to request that you try the Freeaim VR shoes and I'm happy you finally got to try them.
    I think your opinion matters the most since you actively use the slidemills so you could easily compare the 2.

      Thanks man! I actually have a more private demo with them at the end of July, so I am excited to get more time with them.

    Been looking at omni for 10 years and excited to finally get my hands on one! (Pre-ordered one already!)
    I've had psvr and quest but never had anything like this. How would you rate this as a first time player? Also whats your favorite game on there so far?

    What’s the lub spay you use to lub you Kat C2?

  • @nyanduplo

    Looks sick but did I catch at the end you need to buy credits for the system to play the games? If so that’s a complete deal breaker lol no one is paying 2.5k to not have any games

    • @jBahrVR
      @jBahrVR  2 месяца назад

      That is correct - they have their own store so you pay for games on that store. I definitely understand this wont be for everyone. Its similar to a console in my eyes like and Xbox or Playstation, where they have their own ecosystem and stores that you purchase from.

    How much parody to the Quest library will the Omni One ultimately have (obviously not Quest exclusives)?

    • @jBahrVR
      @jBahrVR  3 месяца назад

      Yeah probably no Quest exclusives. The way to think about it is if a game is supported on Pico, then it could pretty easily get added to the Omni library. So more of a parity between Pico and Omni stores.

    So.... how does this compare to the kat vr 2? Im buying one of them.

    • @rarehyperion
      @rarehyperion 3 дня назад

      virtuix seems far worse than the kat vr c2. The choice to make it work with only 1 vr headset is a terrible thing to do... all of their choices really makes it seem like its just to maximize profits since they have their own "credits" system to play games so you literally have to continue paying basically a subscription fee.

    How loud are those shoes? And we can see the plastic and plastic scrape marks on the treadmill. I sometimes wish I knew how to make a treadmill with floor tile like in my kitchen and using socks. Seems so easy to slide around. But making the rotating part that connects to you back seems like the more expensive part.

    • @pixelfairy
      @pixelfairy 3 месяца назад +1

      I did this for a diy system before getting my katwalk. Its the quietest way, but still more effort in the slide than plastic on plastic (kwc2) Stomp worked better than slide, but slide still worked fine.
      Plastic on plastic is loud. When a streamer was using my setup, we had to switch to socks and vive trackers because her audience couldn't her voice or the npcs talking.

      I would say it's slightly louder than the KatVR treadmills, but pretty close. At some point I plan to record side by side and compare.

      The same editor I use - Descript. This is my first video I tried that with, and probably the last.
