@@nickoblack8229 You can do a casual jog, and the new versions will have a slightly faster top speed, and in VR you can sprint and scale the speed to suit the game. We have done gameplay levels where you have to sprint, like in Arizona sunshine 2, and this works just fine. In VR you feel like you're going much faster so overall it works well.
Waiting for the day of neurospace vr. Like how cool would it be if all you needed was the goggles and you lie down and all of a sudden you’re in any game you want
These would be amazing combined with FBT for social VR apps like VRChat. You'd get to walk, dance, etc in infinite space while not being constrained to a harness like a katwalk.
Did you watch the video? 😉 Their goal is definitely to get them to a point where you can run! Also, the shoes were at about 85% speed when I was using them in this demo.
Only time will tell on that. It really depends on if they can make these shoes very agile. If they can get them to the point of being able to safely sprint and quickly turn, maybe even jump around a little, they would be pretty hard to compete with.
The idea of apologizing to someone who is standing way too close while you're testing VR equipment, is just to uncalled for,, dude WatcH where you're walking!
Are they built to accommodate any size shoe? As someone with large feet I wouldn't want to accidentally break them or myself because they were not built with large size in mind
They take some getting used to. You can see videos on our channel from more experienced users. We also have a demos playlist where you can see other total beginners.
@@FreeaimVR Oh interesting Id be intrigued with it being a skill that was learned rather than it perfectly mimicing an environment for walking. Although the latter would definitely allow for a more diverse user space
People are forgetting about disabled people you guys really dont get what its like not to be able to walk but play games stuff like this excludes us and its not right
What are you talking about? There’s tons of options for gaming (even VR) that consider ADA. Your comment is the equivalent of saying “we shouldn’t have Marathons because some people can’t walk/run.”
I can fully imagine someone playing a VR horror game, trying to sprint full speed after seeing a monster and eating shit
Dare me to try? 😉
@@jBahrVRyes, do it
@@jBahrVRI will subscribe just to see you play a horror game with these on lol
@@jBahrVR DO IT
Thanks for all the videos! It was great chatting with you.
Of course! It's hard to stop talking about them 😉
@@jBahrVR New version coming really soon, within several weeks, you will be able to try them...
Can you run with the vr shoes?

This is awesome!!! This is what I would get vs a VR treadmill. This product is what the masses need. Thanks for this awesome product.
Very nice! Looking forward to more reviews once ready for consumers.
Eventually we'll be able on Sword Art Online levels of VR I swear
It will happen eventually if nothing goes wrong. Just hope that it happens in our lifetime.

Great video. Good editing keep it up! Looking forward to watching the full video.

I ngl want these not just for vr but also for the treadmill it’s a good way to use a treadmill in a smaller space and easier transportation
Wish you could run in them, or walk faster, I wouldn't be able to stand moving at that pace

Theyre going to be 1000 dollars
I want those so I don’t hit a wall
really cool
Rip people who are slow
I bet that if i put these on theyd fail, i walk in a very funky way
Check out my full video, we talk about how they actually plan to incorporate large language models so the shoes actually adapt to how YOU walk.
@@jBahrVR We're incorporating machine learning. Not specifically LLMs though :) other ML models.
Awesome!
I agree! 😁
okay, but can we use them for travel instead? If they can negate movement, why not boost it instead >:D
They already exist! They are called Moonwalkers.
Did you try running? Is stopping delayed at all? I know it’s early but looks like it could be amazing
at what speed can’t they catch up anymore? Can you run?
These cost 5 grand compared to the cat walk that is only 1
The business version is $5k. The consumer version will be around $1k, like the kat walk.
until they work unintentionally and you end up in another country.
Nah can't really happen with these
Do you think that this will be better than the kat walk?

I don't think these existing means that people with handicaps are being forgotten..
