this game looks like shit i'm sorry that doesn't make me any less of a gamer i love gameplay but not at the extent of these graphics it was fun back then but this has no replayability for me solely based on visuals alone.

I don't know how you grandpas did it, but these old immersive sims are impossible without guides, patches, and savescumming. Still masterpieces tho, glad i was born in the internet age.
WOW! Just finished watching the whole thing! Great game with a great story line, Love the mixture of colors when ever the thief is in the realm of the trickster, The purples, the reds, the greens and oranges was dazzling. The part I didn't was all up for when retreading through an area That was went through before, Like the lost city, But I understood the meaning why. Going through the mansion again for the masks, I felt what they should of done was to have several basement levels that was discovered on the second trip. The relationship between Garrett and Victoria was good with a bit of possible romance kindling until her death, They could make a game based partly on Garrett finding a way revive Victoria or she planted a seed of herself. Karris could come back as a mutation from the gas? Have a war between the Mechanist and The hammerites? There s so much they can do to revive this series!
I keep coming back to these games, even Deadly Shadows, which for some reason is the most hated of the original three. The use of atmosphere and plot pacing is fantastic, and those simple cut scenes get the job done. I know they were like that due technical limitations, but they are more effective and moody than most other crap these days. Too bad about the reboot…
Dishonored is fun as an action game but it's stealth mechanics are weak as hell. Splinter Cell is the true successor to Thief, especially Chaos Theory.
