I still remember when everyone was unsure ab the animation when the trailer first came out, but the movie was rlly good and they especially did justice to Piccolo and Gohan after all these years

One of my favorite moments in the movie is when Piccolo spun the block on Gamma 2 because he got disrespected in this match.😂😂
seeing gamma 2 again after so long makes me feel happy but also sad at the same time
I know CGanime gets a bad rap (for obvious reasons), but it's hard to deny its qualities when done well. This is one of those cases.
Judging from what I've heard, it's also more humane towards the artists.

The artstyle and animation is actually pretty good. Almost on par with DBS:Broly but definitely leagues above Super

@@just_a_person9583 Yes it is. Not in this scene, but starting from Gohan vs Gamma 1, the movie had animation on par with DBS broly imo.
@@jantheking7028 The energy attacks looked great I can say. But the movements of the characters felt rigid and lacked impact.
@@just_a_person9583 Nah the movement was especially good at those parts. The artsyle feels solid look DBZ, but smooth like DBS Broly. Ultimate Gohan vs Gamma 1 shows this the best, but so does Yellow piccolo vs Gamma 2
@@just_a_person9583The choreograph in Superhero is way better than in Dbs Broly. It helps that 3D has better camera movement for the fights.

So glad to see Piccolo and Gohan getting the love they desperately needed in this series. Piccolo has been stagnant since Buu Saga and Gohan since, after what feels like, the Cell Saga!
Maybe it's just me, but I never really minded cg in Dragon Ball. Me and a cousin played a lot of the dragon ball games growing up, so I think we're kinda desensitized to the cgi since we just see it as a video game in a way, so I never really minded it

Man, the dragon ball franchise is so exhausted that it's kinda sad. Everything that comes out after super series (which was all over the place, sometimes good sometimes bad) is just boring, even the nostalgia doesn't help anymore. It lacks any interesting ideas and resolution.
dragon ball's intention is just money its not passion or anything toei and toriyama just give fans forms and fights and fans wont question anything they just eat up the processed food
It was an okay movie tbh. Didn’t really like the pacing of the movie. Liked the fighting scenes though a lot. 6.5/10 a 7 at most. When I watched the movie.
