Welcome to the This Little Piggy Hometown Collaboration!
Join us in this epic collaboration to see how This Little Piggy pigments can enhance and bring the sparkle to your artworks!
As part of this collaboration, we were asked to use one or two of the new TLP colours, and to work in teams to create artworks that represent our Hometown.
Join us as we show you how to incorporate TLP pigments, paint, resin and mixed media into your work, and we hope you are inspired to find the beauty in the places you live!
We have put together a playlist which can be found to the right of our videos, that will conveniently take you to each artist’s channel and premiere video.
You can find all of the new colours as well as the entire This Little Piggy pigment line at Fluid-art.co, as well as entire range of colours and tool for you to use in your fluid art.
They are NOT just for blooms anymore!
HAMMERHEAD was my chosen color! In this video I also used Brulee and Zeus. I absolutely love both. In addition to the Reveal Blow out I chose to add detail work with a gold pen! Be sure to watch the whole process!
Each team of 5 will have a premiere train starting on Saturday 25th (USA) and Sunday 26th, with the remaining teams on the 2nd and 3rd of June the week after.

Sarah-I was mesmerized watching this pour unfold! First, you painted that beautiful basecoat! Then you poured floetrol on top of the basecoat! I’ve never seen this done. And then proceeded to paint on the layer of floetrol! Mind blown 🤯😃 So cool. The end result is beautiful! I kind of picked up an Asian vibe from it. You gold embellishments were perfect! Sarah oh my goodness! I’ve been on a little bit of hiatus from watching videos but this one really caught my eye and I’m so glad I watched it, such a beautiful technique! I love your handy gold acrylic pen, very cool idea. I also really appreciate that you mentioned how Gail Burstyn did this before, she really is an innovator and such a wonderful artist! So I remember seeing Gail doing that when I was brand new at this and I absolutely loved the idea, but decided to work on other skills fist and then I forgot about it. I'm so glad you did it, to remind me!
I learned this technique using Floetrol as base cover from Gail Burstyn 3 years ago and it can truly enhance the final results of your finished piece! Glad to see you putting it to good use on such a pretty piece. Thank you for sharing ❣️

My goodness Sarah, that is so beautiful, I don’t know how to describe it!!. The fluid art industry is expanding so quickly I can’t keep up. Truly…I feel that if I miss any pours, I am behind. The colors you used are really out of this world and I think I understand, but seriously, I have never seen floetrol as a base. GORGEOUS!!! I was confused when you went to coat the canvas? it was a floetrol container and I said well it looks like white paint? yet it dried with that flash blue showing through? It dried differently as well! some of the color was gone so confused again! LOL....it looked wispier? LOVED IT!

Thank you! I’m certainly not the first, I chose mouth because I didn’t want the hair dryer to blow the colors off. I wanted a more controlled composition.

What is the base shift Color mixed with? I’ve never seen straight floetrol poured on the canvas, does it just go transparent?

What is the difference in regular paint pigments you can buy from Amazon and TLP paint pigments?

TLP is so expensive. Its unrealistic for a lot of us to use due to the high cost. A lot of fluid pouring artists are using them at the moment on You tube, which is great to see how they mix, paint etc, but they are generally given free to the artist to plug the product. It would be great to see some art being made in tutorials using paints/pigments that are affordable to the average person.
I’m certain you can buy other pigments and mix and test. It’s a process to find what works for yourself. Give it a try.
