I totally agree! They and their music mean so much to me, too. The best part for me has been sharing them with my kids. It's been a gift to have this music that we all love and relate to in our own personal way. I'm constantly having to hunt my records down but I don't mind. :-)

I think this is the best feeling to sit in a relaxed atmosphere and listen to strumming on the guitar. I miss those nights with Joey jsut relaxing and listening ot him play these songs. The best times are these.

Frank, the owner, told me a story about when Scott walked in he looked up at the guitar and asked "Can you ship that to North Caroline?" I run into people all the times on the streets of Athens that used to open up for the Avetts when they used to play here all the time before they got huge.
