Due to Nintendo's continued lack of attention towards Waluigi, Did You Know Gaming takes a look at some facts, secrets and Easter eggs relating to Waluigi! Waluigi first appeared in Mario Tennis on the Nintendo 64, and has since been a regular character in Mario spin-off titles including the recent Mario Tennis Aces. Waluigi also has a strong connection to Wario, and often appears alongside him as a pair, but not in Super Smash Bros Ultimate... We personally are hoping for a Waluigi game, or even Waluigi games in the future.

False. Wario's first game was him being jealous of Mario's kingdom and taking it over. He immediately had more characterization and reason for existing than Waluigi who was literally just invented out of necessity to fill a character slot. Waluigi is genuinely my favorite Mario character. I've found him a lot more interesting than any other character in the franchise as a kid. I still do of course and I feel like he has a lot of potential too

Oh wow! The room of Waluigi at Nintendo HQ in Washington, USA is the year I graduated from high school, not to mention purple has always been my favorite color. I'm a bit salty that Waluigi STILL isn't a playable character in SSB Ultimate, but I can't be too mad as Daisy finally is and I have been clamoring for her inclusion for just a LITTLE BIT longer.

It's not perfect. I remember there being one annoying part near the end. But honestly, even an official Waluigi game wouldn't be a as good. Nintendo world likely farm it out to a developer with limited experience and a tiny budget. The world be okay at best.

Apparently Mario got his name from the pizza shop near the US Nintendo HQ and there was a shop right next to it called "Luigi's" which is where we got Luigi. I might be wrong though. But yes, Waluigi is quite a well-thought name when you think about it.

If you ask me, Nintendo is sitting on a Waluigi game. He's the only one out of the core four without his own "thing" (Luigi has ghost hunting, Wario has his mini games, Mario is Mario, heck even Toad has treasure tracking) and his surge in popularity over the past few years has set up a gold mine for Nintendo to capitalize on. This would also explain why he's not in Smash, because they're waiting for his own game and whatever his "thing" will be in order to give him a unique move set.
Remember that Nintendo introduced Pit to smash way before releasing Uprising, probably using the ideas that were being formulated in development at the time. If Waluigi makes it into the game with an unexpected moveset, that would be suspicious

Everywhere I look online, people are complaining that Waluigi isn't in the game so maybe Sakurai or someone else at Nintendo will take notice. I'm not getting my hopes up but he still stands a glimmer of a chance at being added in last minute.
