Thanks for taking the time to upload these videos. I've had three P6s but never a V8. I've done some work on the ones I had but not a restoration. Very interesting and skilled work that you are doing and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
You are brave man, that looks like a lot of work, I've owned 5 p6's only 1 being a V8 in the same colour as yours, scrab blue, thanks for the video, Michael 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I have really enjoyed the videos so far - you are very skilled. Can you video yourself doing some of the welding - to pick up some tips and know how please? Looking forward to the next video - thankyou- have watched some a couple of times over.
Thank you Ed, I will try and cover as much as I can. I'm an amateur re welding but hopefully will improve as time goes on. Thanks for watching, makes it all worthwhile.
You're making good progress Mike. I think I would weld a bit of bracing into the other side before you hack all the sills apart, just to be safe. There doesn't look to be that much structure left on camera, it may be better in reality though. One little bit at a time is the only way.
Thanks Bob I've been keeping an eye on it. Thanks for the Yorkshire Car Restoration Channel, I'll subscribe as there's plenty of content to sift through and learn from.
Excellent work! Really enjoy your videos. Good luck with the next phase. FYI, my P6 nut & bolt restoration is nearing the end. You can find the video of us firing up the car for the first time at Church House Classics. Happy new year.
Thank you, I follow Richard alot as I own a Range Rover Classic. His input has been invaluble for me. Thanks for watching and I'll tune in watch the start up of your P6. Happy new year.
@@1971RoverP6 Doh! at least you don't need to take the head off. It can be done in situ. The fella down Penzance Sheldon found a proper bent pushrod on his one.
Very interesting Mike, Red wine Dave showing his skills all over You Tube.
Yes Nev, such a celebrity.
Well done great to see another P6 on its way to being restored 😊
Indeedy, thanks for watching.
You are making a excellent job, enjoying your content, will keep watching, thanks.
Much appreciated! thanks for watching.

Glad you like them! P6s have always been in my blood since my early twentys. It's nice to own one again after all these years. Thanks for watching.

Thank you for watching, I'm either brave or stupid, probably the later.

How's your Rover coming along?
Hi Mike, all good until we spotted a valve spring has broken
