Yes, I would recommend that, especially if you are doing technician level repair. Sometimes, in these videos, I try not to go into the deeper troubleshooting steps for simplicity purposes.

Hello, I have an older GE/Frigidaire stack washer dryer. On the spin cycle it sounds normal without clothes in it. When a load is put in and goes to spin it sound very loud like screeching. Any idea on what it could be? Thank you
I can trick mine to pump out. I set it to drain and spin. It drains and stops. Then I reset it to drain and spin and it spins out. What's wrong with mine?
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Hopefully I’ll be able to save an elderly couple some money!!
Best of luck!
Thanks for your help! Washer back to working again.
Awesome! Glad to help!
Do you think it is advantageous to do a voltage check at the drain pump connector to see if the control board and the wiring are good?

If i got 16.1 ohms reading from the drain pump is it within tolerance or is it fried? I know you said 10-15ohms
Great video! Thanks!
Yes 16.1 ohms should be ok. But please be aware the pump can still be mechanically broken
My carrion has black panel with all push buttons so my washer is doing the no drain thing and stop in the cycle

Sounds like bad bearing. Unfortunately, that's a tough/expensive repair
Thanks!
