  • Ted and Melissa Miller own and operate Delta Dairy, LLC on the Mississippi River Delta in Baskin, LA. The operation consists of approximately 450 milk cows and 600 head of replacements and bulls, rotationally grazed on 1200 acres of pasture. In this 14 minute documentary they share how they produce milk in an environmentally and economically sustainable fashion.

    I wish they would still have dairys down south louisiana where would have real milk. I don't drink what is in the stores it's not good.

    I believe cows/cattle eat lush green grass as food, not fermented corn stalks or dried, imported hay. Baby cows drink milk, not man made formula.
    This video includes the word 'sustainable' while showing trampled, over-grazed land: more like a sterile holding pen.
