    I won't be using mine as often as you so maybe the thread buildup won't be as severe. I admire your ability to handle all those little screws. I used to work on my machines when I was younger but now the dreaded arthiritis as gotten in my hands. : )

      @@grandmajane2593 yes it is not normal to have so much dust in the sewing machine🤭🤭🤭, and the screws kept running away 🤦‍♀️😂

    I recently purchased a Singer Heavy Duty. I can see I will never be able to maintain the machine myself. It will be a job for a professional. Too bad Singer couldn't have made it easier to clean and oil. Good instructions though. Thanks.

      @@grandmajane2593 thank you for your comment. 🤗 I think, any machine is similar or harder to maintain. I would never maintain myself my embroidery machine Bernette (for example). But this singer is my work horse and I use it very heavy, so here I must clean myself. It will be wrong for me to look for maintenance every month 🤭
