Try enabling the Skybox setting, then also "Override Skybox" setting when inside ToA. It brightens up the environment and makes it much easier to see. I love the client and am going to use it exclusively because of the framerate.
I've heard its radius markers for runelite. don't think hdos has it yet but plugins have been getting added pretty quick to it so you can probably do it soon

I’ll try to get a good example of the room to show you I usually focus cursed baboons first(they stack a lot at end) shamans with serp/blowpipe then mages/throwers/brawlers last. A good strategy for not taking damage is leaving cursed baboons for last though. You can usually go through mages/throwers/brawlers before the next wave spawns if you focus them. Getting the cursed baboons usually spawns the next wave which can have all 3 attacking you at once. I’ll try to get what I do for each wave I think I have a good example on my pc
This is a good example for how i run the room ruclips.net/video/C8HcSVg0ZzE/видео.html&ab_channel=MomoFlip i focus shamans since i use blowpipe/serp in all waves except when you get a double thrower spawn and get them before shaman. on mage waves bp/serp can stop shaman from spawning thralls so focus shaman before mages and mostly don't take damage except from thralls. on melee waves i focus shamans also. i get cursed baboons in between some waves also when they get close or before next wave spawns. I'm kinda messy at writing the example above is how i run the room without taking too much damage. as long as your praying against baboons attacking and focusing shamans if using blowpipe(they can do a lot of mage damage if you tag them then get other baboons) damage isn't too much.
i wonder if this would cause osrs to crash on my i7 imac because 117hd would work for a while but cause runelite to crash 1-2x a day when using it and i also had to uncheck computer shaders on gpu plug in that would cause it to crash as well which is weird considering i have good imac and its brand new and super fast
hdos doesn't have a low detail plugin but it does have a SD setting. You can also change a lot of things that runelite low detail mode has like the ground so it kinda looks similar to the plugin
feels cool for a bit but trust me, as with age, having dim light gets old and annoying when you can barely see what's going on. Like the "gamers" who decide to put red light district LEDs in their room and think they're "cool gamers"
I noticed that when I used the client Everything felt so hard to see I could barely click anything this run. Was pretty fun to run though. I feel like they will update this though I would find 500 invo impossible to run with how dark everything is
@@Jacob-xj4yk I've played since 2005 and I know plenty of people that see 2008-2011~ era as the best for RS, which I see as an agreeable opinion. Though I respect those that don't particularly like it but are fine with others having it as an option.

This fixed the dark rooms I was able to see a lot easier in the raid. Thank you!
I enjoyed the client a lot with how smooth it felt, just waiting until some more plugins get added
once radius markers are introduced this client is 100% my main client. even without radius markers, toa has been a blast outside of a view visual bugs

I think the original design would be in game I didn’t test hdos before I got blood torva though so not sure

the only thing i like about this client is that tbow has a bowstring. Looks like its well made for the people that enjoy the graphics tho.

Agreed. 2007 runescape is the best version imo graphics wise.

They have plans to do their own HD, but luckily for you it'll be completely optional

hdos got added to jagex launcher a few days ago your able to use it. can either use on jagex launcher or the hdos client
It's an officially approved client by Jagex as well, which is why it got added to the launcher
