I like most the saito FA line of engines they are one of the most user friendly 4 stroke, the new FA-B series are not as user friendly as they used to be. Since the appearence of the gasoline Ignition engines something changed.
Hi David. Just before starting the engine, it got hydro locked once and you moved the prop a few turns clockwise, while the glow was still connected. Can the engine start clockwise and is this a safety hazard? Thank you
I did not turn it to create compression. Without flipping through the compression it cannot start. I have been doing this for many years and I am comfortable with what I do. That said my run videos are for entertainment purposes only and not instructional. You do what you feel is safest for you.

She sounds pretty dialled in. There was very little sag after you pulled the glow igniter off and the transition was snappy. A great sounding engine!
